Bleh, I ended up dumping both TtBY very, very early on and now MQ, so I'm without a drama, sadly. I'm considering Nice Guy, but I want the romance to be genuine and the main leads likeable. I usually have no problem with well-written TV series filled with unlikeable, complicated people who plot and scheme, I'm just exhausted by them right now. I want another Answer Me 1997! I did hear rumors of a Season 2, so... who knows? I'm thinking about watching something quirky like Mixed-Up Investigative Agency or History of a Salaryman.
Now for the upcoming dramas... ah, so many good actors I like making their comeback! No more sageuks or spy dramas right now, so that eliminates a great deal of the list. I might check out King of Dramas (I'm thinking about starting The World That They Live in per my mother's recommendation), but no to Cheonamdong Alice because I'm tired of Cinderella set-ups. Choosing from the above list, I'd probably say Jeon Woo Chi – and I LOVED the movie. I have confidence that Cha Tae-hyun can carry off our Bunny-ears Lawyer-like Daoist wizard perfectly. Also, I adored UEE's character in Ojakkgyo Brothers, and I'll enjoy watching her in the small screen adaptation of Jeon Woo Chi.
Shockingly I'm not really feeling any of these. Just as well maybe as I already have more than enough dramas on my roster and several already aired ones that I haven't had time to watch yet. I'll probably end up trying one or two for a size anyways, we'll see....
I'm most excited about "I Miss You" & "That Winter, The Wind Blows"...and I'm not usually a melodrama fan...but for the lead guys, I'll watch them in anything, not to mention JIS's 7 year long drama drought...Can't wait!
I'm not that oooh, I want to see this at all but there are some that I want to give a try. Especially ooolala spouses because it seems like fun and i like the actors especially the leads. The great seer also looks interesting but seriously Ji Sung's wig in the preview to the drama was terrible and hilarious, I hope it will not be like that in the drama. Jeon Woo Chi,I loved the movie and I know that Cha Tae-hyun can be funny (I loved Speedy scandal) and the supporting cast is good in this one as well. City Conquest, dead fish eyes no.2 and Jung Yumi (I know she can act even though I hated her role in RTP) but KHJ can't act at all, yes he looks pretty but that's it.
