I caved in and started watching ep 11 of Arang and the Magistrate with partial subs and OMFG, did A&tM just go Hanadan?! With Eun Oh as Domyouji?! My favorite scene from Hanadan, no less?!

OMFG there might have been screaming in my house.

If you read/watched Hanadan (or Meteor Garden), I believe you might know which scene I mean...

Sick people should be agitated like this, drama!!!!! Though I think my awful cold just magically got better all from that one scene.

It was so so perfect. Especially since he knows she can't die but he doesn't want her to be hurt!

ehmmm i watched both hanadan&meteor garden, but i'm yet to watch Arang.. and now you really make my mind curious with your post, can you tell me please what scene is similar to Hanadan&MG??? thank you ;)

Remember the scene where Makino gets kidnapped by Domyouji's enemies and they tell him to come alone if he wants to see her again, and then they hold a weapon to her and tell him if he resists their beating, they will harm her, and so he just takes it even though he could easily defeat them? That's the scene.

The baddies kidnap Arang and tell EO to come and he is fighting the goons but then they put a knife to Arang's neck and tell him if he makes a move they'll hurt her so he is letting them beat him to death as she is begging him to fight...Then she manages to free herself and he does start fighting.
