It's funny - I started out thinking this drama was very pretty but having no emotional involvement in it at all but by now I am so emotionally invested and giddy and overwrought. Though of course only evil kdrama writers will give a guy with major attachment/abandonment issue a girl who only has two months on this earth in any shape as a love interest. I smell angst!!!! (if she stayed as a ghost, it wouldn't be so bad - sure, he'd have a gf that only he could see and he's have to hide her from the reapers and, of course, no kids - but he could still see her and touch her (the latter is very important for a relationship :)) but if she is gone to heaven or hell, that's it).

I know!!!! So freaking good!

I'm in the midst of editing and timing the softsubs for the Marang Team for episode 10 and it's taking me ages because I stop and read all the subs instead of just doing it quickly^^

I can already tell you that episode 10 is even more swoonworthy. You'll want to endlessly cap the last scene. It won't help with your capping addiction but it's so pretty you won't mind anymore^^

And yeah, Eun Ho fighting with his fan was super hot. * I'm sorry Evil!Legolas from Faith. Eun Ho is one step above you. But don't worry, you're still hot in your own right.*

Btw, wanted to ask you if you'd watched episode 28 of Bridal Mask after all? I had to watch it 3 times (RAW + Check + QC) for my French translation and it was kind of hard. But now that I'm a bit more detached from the whole thing (and also now that I've written tons of stuff about it to get it off my chest), I can appreciate it more. I'll never like what they did with the ending but it doesn't make me rabbidly mad anymore. And the last scene was excellent and very powerful.

I do think, as I commented elsewhere, that is is so evil (but very kdrama) to give someone with attachment/abandonment issues, a girlfriend who can even only stay in the world for 2 months. Ouchies!

I haven't gone back to Gaksital - I am watching 7 airing kdramas so viewing time is at a premium and I just can't muster the enthusiasm.

That's K-dramas for you. Think of the worst thing that could happen to a character and they'll give it to you and much more.

I know it's too early to think about the ending yet but I'd love to see both of them working for the Jade Emperor. So they wouldn't be quite dead and I wouldn't have watched 2 dramas with a depressing ending in a row.

It's another reason I'm kind of giving Nice Guy a wide birth until I know how it ends. I've read the recaps and the heroine looks kind of fragile health-wise. Almost never ends well in K-dramaland.

I understand re-Gaksital. If I hadn't had to translate it, I probably wouldn't have watched the last episode after reading the recaps.

Nice Guy - I think her health issues is more overwork and memory issues, but with kdramas, you never know.

Yeah, them both human and on earth at the end would be a great ending as well but I don't want to ask for too much. Gaksital's ending kind of traumatized me as much as Hong Gil Dong's did. I see potential tragedy everywhere now.

Investigating crimes while neither really dead or really alive would be a compromise.

*crossing fingers* I don't want the end to be all doom and gloom.

I'll keep reading recaps for Nice Guy. We'll see where it goes.
