Five Fingers ep 6 - thoughts and caps

I confess to watching large parts of FF through my fingers - to see Ji Ho be so nice and trusting to people who are planning to ruin him is giving me the utter creeps (especially when you add into account my fondness for Joo Ji Hoon). Realistically, whatever the outcome of the evil plans themselves, something like this would make a person unable to trust for life - the woman he views/calls Mom and who pretends to treat him as one, has been set to ruin him from childhood. That's decades of therapy. I can't wait for him to find out and go Mawang on their ass.



Here because JJH is pretty even with those hideous bangs.





The brothers squaring off. I don't hate In Ha as much as I do Momster but the only time I don't want to smack the smug off his face is when he's with Dami - he's human then.





Awww, Ji Ho teaches underprivileged kids. But JJH's character in Mawang volunteered in a soup kitchen while orchestrating murders of multiple people at the same time so....OK, I just want him to go on a killing spree here!








Angsty JJH finding out he shouldn't perform or his hand might not heal properly but deciding to perform anyway. What, he hasn't watched Spring Waltz?





Angry JH confronting Dami and In Ha, ironically, being her white knight. The one thing I noticed about JH is, while he is a good guy, and surprisingly well-adjusted with a monster for a 'mother,' he has a hell of a temper.























I think she is going to be a secondary girl. Please don't make her crazy, drama! I like her!





OK, I have an unhealthy unhealthy investment in Ji Ho. Every time someone doesn't treat him the way I think he should be treated, or even whenever Psycho Jr. and Monster Ma look in his direction, I wanna go on a rage-filled smackdown.











In Ha is very pretty and performs so well and Ji Ho is very pretty but due to his busted hand doesn't perform well at all. Awwwww. Dami is watching and, in rl, not a drama, she would totally fall for In Ha because he's hot, treated her well, and played music well :)

Maybe, before making evil plans and congratulating each other you should check the target is not around? Luckily for them, but unluckily for my blood pressure, Ji Ho was asleep. I love that it drives In Ha batty that Ji Ho congratulates him at doing well instead of frothing with rage - he can't enjoy his doing well - he wants Ji Ho feeling chargrined and that is why he will never win - it's not about his own happiness and talent for Psycho Jr. Oh, and Monster Ma's fake kindness makes me stabbity.





















I am not the biggest fan of JJY (she is still a newbie and it shows) but she and JJH have excellent chemistry and I love their fighting more than words can say.











But despite loathing his guts, she is awesome enough to explain the truth as to why Ji Ho couldn't perform to the prof. Go, Dami!








He totally fell for her at this moment! Listening to her play! AWWW! You know, I kinda wish we didn't even have the family insanity and had a drama about a prickly composer falling for a talented arranger/pianist instead, as they struggle to get to the top.








This is just so cute! I love his grin!

He is fixing her busted bike. You are such a goner, boy!





This cap from the preview freaks me out so much - because he's being so vulnerable and broken down with her and I bet she is the one who caused whatever is causing him this agony. DIAF!






In conclusion, for the love of all that is holy, Ji Ho get a haircut please!

I have yet to really sit down and watch this, but I agree about two things:

Ji Ho needs a haircut.
JSY is a lovely girl, but she is only 19, and her lack of experience in 'adult' roles really showed toward the end of Bridal Mask. She's got a lot of potential and I think she'll be great in five-ten years, but there are times when she's overtaken by her more seasoned co-stars.

The think with JSY is she is exactly the same here and in Gaksital and that's not good - I mean, as Dami, she is Mok Dan minus the cool outfits and issues with the Japanese.

I like her bickering scenes with JJH a lot but I liked it when Joo Won and she fought in Gaksital too -it's when more complexity was required that she faltered. I hope since she has more experience now, she'll be doing better here.

For me it is too early. JSY in most brains is still Mok Dan.
By the way...she looks worn out from Bridal Mask, how she will manage this long show? Maybe that is sharpen her skills in the long end. Now I just want send her to bed.

Awwwww mousie why didn't you caps and talked about Da-mi and In-ha love-stroll at the end? So cute, Da-mi is like catnip to "lion" In-ha, basically he's tame only when with her. These two has very cute chemie, their scenes make me smile, a rare occasion from this dark makjang fest LOL. When In-ha about to perform, his eyes looking for Da-mi immediately and his smile after that was just..... swoooooon.
Though really... not that I didn't realize he IS almost a STALKER. And WTH with he fondly hold those Da-mi's keychain? Is his deluded mind forget that those was actually for Ji-ho?

Hahaha I said last week that you will like episode 6 much more, and so glad I'm right. At this point I really can't predict where the love triangle will go. Neither IH nor JH knows they are each interacting with DM. Not to mention what Momster will react when she know her precious only son is infatuating with DM. She's in college now, yes, but still a waitress nonetheles.Nad it won't help she always treat DM's mom like a dirt, and DM's bro so bent on revenge.

I can't help but imagine DM beams at JH and give him warm conspiratorially hug, says "Well done, Ji Ho oppa" after he fries her stepmomster to crisp(1st scene in 1st eps). Hmmm... Deliciously twisted.
