I am so obsessed with this drama, it's not funny.



This scene between Gongmin and Nogook! How angry Gongmin was (and jealous that Nogook might care for Choi Young) and then, he asked her, almost as a challenge, whether she did all that because she was concerned for him and she answered yes, she was worried sick, and his face OMG his face. And then when she added she won't do so again and won't seek him out and his face again...Oh God, I ship them, don't I? His shields are so close to crumpling.














I just love this shot, and I love that it's Eun Soo's compassion that gets her taken away by the bad guys.





Good Lord! This is like every shoujo fantasy come true - all the cravings I used to get fulfilled as a much younger Mousie when I used to devour Fushigi Yuugi. Because he barely comes awake and finds out she's been taken and gets dressed, while he can barely stand (I am noticing a pattern, Choi Young - you won't love long if you are so brutal to yourself!), and goes off after her - all by himself! Into the bad guy's stronghold! The bad guy who has hundreds of soldiers! And Jang Bin asks him about his plan and he replies 'frontal assault.' OMFG. OMFG. But all of it pales to the fact that he is told it is a royal order that Eun Soo be given to the bad guy and Jang Bin asks him if he's going to disobey a royal order and 'perfect soldier' Choi Young, who has obeyed every order to the letter, no matter how much he loathes, just looks at him, and proceeds with his rescue plan, disobeying the royal order without a pause. OMFG.





























Here for the prettiness of the bad guy's assistant and the gorgeousness of Choi Young.








This scene! RDH is an amazing actor, especially for his age. He is playing perhaps the most complex character and he is doing it so well - you can just feel the mind and the will and the inexperience and everything warring. What almost breaks him isn't the insults or disregard of his enemies, it is the distrust of his wife and Choi Young - that neither of them even contemplates he can have a plan and a conscience, that he didn't just send Eun Soo away because he was weak or uncaring, but because he had a plan for her survival. But the thing, Nogook is worried for him and he doesn't share his plan with her, so how would she know? And Choi Young barely knows the King, knows nothing of any plan, and the past King he served was a monster who destroyed his soul, so he is not the most trusting or emotionally healthy man out there...








The whole sequence, with Choi Young fighting his way through all the soldiers and the supernatural flunkies, cutting them like grass to get to Eun Soo...my heart!

You know what really gets me? He actually tries to clean off his blood before he goes in to see her - in the middle of battle and everything. Somehow this small gesture really got me.








This scene! Their chemistry! Their chemistry! The way she still calls him 'psycho,' the way she cups his cheek to check he is not ill any more, the way they look at each other, and that chemistry chemistry chemistry!























And then bad guy with his retinue shows up and Choi Young confesses he came to rescue his woman because he loves her! I love the look on both the bad guy's and Eun Soo's face! LOL. I don't think he (consciously) means it, he is just saying it to throw them off kilter and to keep it personal and not political but I am still !!!!!!

That really got to me, too. It was such a small thing, but it was such a sweet thing. I literally let out an 'Aw," at that.

I loved loved everyone's' expressions when CY said he loves ES. Even the baddies had 'WTF?' looks on their faces.

I'm so thrilled at the comedy in this show. Baddie + Eun Soo is likely the funniest thing I've seen in awhile, heeheehee!!! I love that this show is unexpected and we will never know what any character will do ahead of time.

The OTP is sublime. The way she cups his face and the way he looks at her*&%*!#%$%^$^& PRETTY PRETTY PRETTY. MAKE OUT NAO PLEASE. I also love the part where Eun Soo detailed her reasons for moving into plastic surgery. Obviously she isn't such a huge money grabber, she's just afraid of heartbreak and failure. No one ever died of double eyelid surgery. Her face was so open for that moment my heart clenched a little.

PS: I am not a LMH super fan but I have seen some episodes of CIty Hunter. I don't think he was as hot as he is here. Dear lord. Especially in his dream, somehow the color palette accentuates his beauty and profile, if that's even possible. I scream "why so pretty" at my screen every 10 minutes, seriously.

Wow I know there was a reason why I fell in love with this show from the beginning this writer is amazing and with 24 episodes of Faith I know we are in for a treat.

In this episode we get both the story and development of the characters which suppose to happen in this type of drama yes I am looking at you other dramas.

I love how the writer has given us insights to each character in each episode and it shows that everyone have an important piece to add to the big picture.

KHS knocks it out of the ballpark with her acting since I cried when Eunsoo was trying to revive Choi Young and you can see her brave front when she spoke to the bad guy Gi Cheol.

This episode also does not change my mind about second lead shipping especially when Phillip Lee held her after she confronted the bad guy ahhh my ship may sink but it is a good ship I challenge you fellow fans to join my ship I have life rafts so don't worry about it sinking.

The king and queen well it is pretty obvious they love each other but they really have a lot of issues to work through before any loving takes place.

That King better stop keeping all the information to himself I mean hellooo Kingie sorry to break it to you but neither the Queen or General Choi can read your mind so you need to share your plans with them since trust is a two way street geez.

The King also needs to fix that foot in mouth disease he is suffering from currently I mean he chased the queen away.

We actually get some much needed information on flute white hair hot baddie but I still need more answers to my questions like why is he following main bad guy you know is it the mustache or does he get free beauty treatments I just want to know.

Also I noticed the main bad guy Gi Cheol has gathered people with powers like he seems to have ice powers, sister has fire powers, white haired hottie is the sound killer and well I don't know about the rest of his group so I think he is a power collector that is why he wants Choi on his side.

Choi Young had me cheering and shocked at the ending of this episode with the love declaration so now I need episode 6.

Poor King - he and the queen are both so young and so proud and I just want them to make the first move at the same time (her declaration was almost enough) and to find love with each other.

I love love love this drama, everything in it just works for me. Eun Soo is hilarious and I ship her with CY hardcore.

Also, the white-haired flutist of death is ridiculously hot, I think I need to show one of friends pics. He is so up her alley since she's a fangirl of Sesshomaru (Inyuasha) & Sephiroth (Final Fantasy).

When you mentioned Fushigi Yuugi, it made me remember that I really must finish it. I found some volumes of it one day in my public library years ago when I was secondary school and got ridiculously addicted to it lol. I need to know how it ends!

I really felt for the king in that scene. :(

I love the fact that when he went to "ES" tied up in the chair and found out it was Hwasuin, and she was all "Don't I look like her?", CY just answers that the woman he knows won't be sitting there quietly. Lol. He definitely knows that about her. Lol.

Me too. I'm all D'aaawww. He really doesn't want her worrying about him. How sweet is that? I just love them. And their whole reunion scene. I want to marry that scene. I don't know what will happen to me once their love story really picks up. I'll just be a puddle of goo, maybe. Possibly. Yes. And I noticed CY didn't take offense anymore at ES touching him. Hehe. (I wonder what will happen if he finds out about the CPR?) Is he perhaps getting used to her? I love the little shyness he displayed, looking down and all. Awww. And ES saying, I saved you. Lol. So ES.

Oh, and also, the soft relieved tone ES used saying "Psycho". :P

And, lol, he loves her. I think we all shared the same "HUH?" look with them.

I am so obsessed with this show right now! I'm actually trying to decide whether to watch episode 6 raw or not.

The cinematography is gorgeous, and I love the wuxia vibe that all the wire action and the supernatural powers give to this drama.

And oh, the chemistry is off the roof!!! I loved the little scene of Choi Young cleaning some of the blood off his face before seeing Eun Soo.

I've been taking zillions of screencaps and plan to make icons at some point :D (of Arang, as well, since that one also has really gorgeous cinematography at times).

I've been away on vacation and completely OFFLINE (the horror!). Just got back and need to catch up with everything.

I just finished this episode. At last I finally saw chemistry between Choi Young and Doctor Lady (forgot her name). I loved the CPR and the rescue scenes!

Also, I'm please with Lady Doctor / Ancient Doctor scenes!
