dangermousieHave just finished ep 4 of Faith and a proper post with caps coming but that flashback was the most heartbreaking, appalling thing ever. It explains so much about CY, especially his death wish.
Also, this continues hurt/comfort central.
But ultimately: Choi Min Soo!!!! They freaking got Choi Min Soo to do a cameo! Asdffghjk!

Re-flashback... Do you think Girl!Ninja was his girlfriend like everybody seems to believe? I got brother/sister vibes from them but that might be wishful thinking.

I wonder if she died or if she became the new leader of their ninja group. As I recall, the commander introduced her as the 3rd in command. Since I presume Young was the 2nd in command, that would make her the de facto leader if she's still alive.

Date: 2012-08-22 04:04 pm (UTC)Yeah, I saw that talk about the Queen having a crush on Young. It seems so obvious to me that she's crazy in love with the king that I was just left scratching my head. But I do think the drama is trying (not very subtly) to confuse us. Maybe it'll be a source of conflict between the king ang Young later on if he believes his wife favors his trusted general.

I got the impression Gongmin was kind of attracted to his queen so I don't think they'll be taking the gay route but who knows?
BTW, I saw while reading the other posts that you heard about the 5F debacle. I'm of two minds about this. I won't comment on SBS's decision because the whole thing is too tangled and shady. But, re-actress change:
*Yay. The other actress kind of grated on my nerves in all her previous projects and I would vastly prefer to see JSY opposite JJH. Plus their age difference would amp the forbidden love factor and I could get behind that.
*Nay. I really wanted Mok Dan to "come back" in the last episodes. She gets even less screentime than some secondary characters these days. But if JSY is able to take on another role while still filming Gaksital, it must mean that she won't have that many scenes left to do. Here goes my last hope.
*Off to watch Arang ep 3 RAW while waiting for the english translation of Gaksital*

I liked Eunjung OK but I like JSY better. Still, in childhood portions she and JJH are the same age so it will be odd.

On another note, the wonderful Svetik has just posted the most gorgeous and touching MV about the relationship between Kang To and Shunji. It's a must watch:
Such a complex and heart-breaking relationship. She captured it perfectly. If it wasn't choke-full of spoilers for episodes 1-22, I'd show it to everyone I know to entice them to watch the drama.

Date: 2012-08-22 05:05 pm (UTC)I feel bad for Eunjung because I liked her in Coffee House better than PSY, but it was really because of the character itself. She may not be the best actress but SBS is just wrong to pull her out because of the scandal, especially when promo shoots are done and she rejected other lead roles for this role.
But also, i feel that T-ara shouldn't air their dirty laundry on twitter which is so PUBLIC, they should know better what kind of consequences it will lead to. Anyways, even though I'm not a big fan of T-ara, I just think that the cyber bullying should stop. I think it's the way their CEO is handling things that made the whole fiasco worse.
But if Jin Se Yeon is taking up the role, YAY!!! I like her from My daughter is flower too and gaksital, her management is good to get her projects nonstop but i bet the girl is super tired. Her role in Gaksital is not that huge and that show is ending so I hope she can still participate in 5F but at the same time, i feel that she needs rest too. So conflicted about JSY taking up the role in 5F. I hope the t-ara fans don't bash her for taking up the role.
