Faith - obsession continues

One of my favorite scenes from ep 3 of Faith is behind the cut.



CY is pretty much the worst patient ever, but there isn't anything much you can do for a guy who literally doesn't care if he lives or dies under the best circumstances, and atm feels he should be dead because he broke his promise to Eun Soo. The thing is - the whole ep I kept wondering - why does he refuse treatment (except for the surgery which he was in no position to refuse, being unconscious) - and a little part of it might be "I don't care about anything" attitude and warrior ethos about showing pain but it can't be much of it - he didn't actively seek out death earlier and warriors do get patched up, and then of course at the end of the ep it becomes crystal clear he doesn't want Eun Soo to fix him because he feels so guilty about being forced to break his promise and stranding her in the past. And I love that Eun Soo might be mad at him (I love that her pet nickname for him seems to have become 'psycho.' LOL) but she also wants him to live so badly - in the insanity that her life has become, he's, oddly, the most comforting and familiar thing.

Anyway, here he is waking up and trying to go for his sword (I also love the way he looks ES asleep in the corner after fixing him half the night). And ES wakes up, grabs a dagger and threatens him to get him back to bed. I love his retort, which is something to the effect of "or what? You are going to stab me again and then fix me again?" Bluff called! :)






























































So he puts on his armor and goes, tottering, down to his men. He's clearly borderline passing out, but that's not stopping our masochist general (just as well, or where would my h/c fantasy be?)











And I totally cheered when Eun Soo interrupts his strategizing by yelling at him from the top of the stairs and shoving her way past a whole troup of armed men, each of whom can probably kill her with one hand, as if they weren't there. And she confronts Choi Young, hands on hips. When tiny her confronts giant armored him and tells him off = heaven! Heeeee. She pretty much informs him he is an idiot and he has to go back to bed and tells him of all the horrid things that can happen to him if he doesn't but her tirade is sort of interrupted when he collapses on her. Point. Proven. Well, not to Choi Young, who explains they HAVE to leave, because they are being tracked to be killed, and this time not just the queen, but Eun Soo is the target (ahhhh, I bet that added extra urgency to you, sexy general) and he can't fight in his present condition - I love that she asks the question 'why' and he assumes it's about his fighting skills but it's about killers. Because to him being tracked to be killed is a normal state of things and not being able to fight is a freak occurrence, but to her, it's the other way around. And he stalks off (well, more like stumbles off), and stubborn ES tries to follow anyway.

As someone who's taken care of so many post-op patients... I almost had a heart attack when he got up in the morning! I was yelling and the screen and squeezing my pillow. "STOP HIM! HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO MOVE YET!"

OMG I just finished watching this episode!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Eun Soo!
Like you said, tiny woman vs big men/man and she doesn't give a rat's ass.

Also, lol at female bonding session + driving her attending maid mad (Hisamusement was so cute!) + basically causing pandemonium around the men bec she's walking aound shorts. I love that it pisses CY off. Like he spends time fixated on that!
And pushing her against the pillar!!
Chemistry between these two is off the wall!

I loved it when she got in his face!

The chemistry is so hot it's ridiculous - I just want her to heal them and then for them to go at it like bunnies.

I love how she throws him off kilter.
