
After I finished ep 14 of Gumiho, I cheated and skimmed ep 16 (OMG, when DW is told he can save Mi Ho's life if he drinks that flagon - and then he will die and she will live and while the hunter is all 'I'll understand if you hesitate' but before he can even finish the sentence, DW drinks it all) and then I got to this scene and...cannot breathe...for bawling...



















Yes, I know it has a happy ending. No, it doesn't make me feel cheerier about this scene.

I think this would have been an awesome Bollywood movie, btw, modifying for mythology - with its mixture of comedy and angst.

Date: 2012-08-13 12:33 pm (UTC)I agree! The whole hero-and-heroine-protecting-each-other-for-own-good lends itself very well to Bollywood and there are good Indian mythology stories that would fit. It kinda has a Veer-Zaara feel to it :D
