I have no idea how In Time With You completely didn't come on my radar, seeing that it stars my girlcrush Ariel Lin and that it's about best friends who become lovers, my favorite trope. But suffice it to say that after the below MV, it's on my radar all right. I am getting the first ep as we speak.

I need this NOW! And I don't even find Bolin Chen attractive. But this is amazing-looking!

Haven't seen Worlds Within so can't argue with that comparison but I would say that the heroine making a big deal out of turning 30 aspect is more reminiscent of Dal Ja's Spring. Plus, something about Ariel's character was deeply unpleasant to me. Idk, that could just be me. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on it though.

I liked WW but I ITWY infuriates me to no ends, to me this can not be more vastly diff *shrug*.

Koala did a roundup on it as well. And yeah, I think we both + YourInsomnia are the 3 who absolutely hated it.

I agree. I was very disappointed with Ariel's character in this drama. I love Ariel and was looking forward to rooting for her character, but ended up not agreeing with her at all. You summed her up perfectly: self-righteous and self-absorbed.

This drama still had some nice moments overall, a great soundtrack, and the overall cast is pretty good too (Bolin Chen is a standout, imo).

If you like Worlds Within, then its really for you.. :)
Its rare for me to like Taiwan drama, until In Time With You.. Clearly ITWY almost claim my fav drama all the time.. the 2nd one. I remember use my week end to finish 13 epsds. It has its flaw like others, but all forgiven coz it has MANY AMAZING things, contents, brilliant lines, and moments, especially last episode XD It is amazingly directed, acted, and written drama, and Ariel-bolin chemistry is so much <3

And I love Ariel strong character here. The strong not perfect character that usually female lead not supporting. ITWY, the drama that still lingering in me, its seriously a drama that make me hard to move on...
Can't wait to hear your thought about this drama :)
