dangermousieAwww, soompi seems solidly Seok Hyun-hatred zone and rooting for the other guy to end up with Yeol Mae zone. :( While I actually dropped INR2012 until I find out who she does end up with, and if it's not SH, I am not picking it back up. Sure, I wanted him to suffer a bit for being stand-offish about commitment, but I didn't want him to lose the girl!
Let's face it, in RL, if I were her friend, I'd tell her to go for Ji Hoon - he's loaded, calm, demonstrative, and has a pet plant. He doesn't seem to clean her clock in bed the way SH does or have the same long history with her, but the former can be worked on and the latter would happen if he stuck around. OTOH, Seok Hyun is emotionally fucked up and probably has the same genetic disease that killed his sister - not only can he die young, any kids he has can also get it. So I get where soompi fangirls are coming from, I do. I get that 'but he looooooves her! and cried! and is super-hot and has wonderful chemistry with her where JH does not and I love fucked-up heroes and I am obsessed with Lee Jin Wook who plays him and childhood loves who stayed together until recently are awesome' is not a legit answer. BUT!!!! Heart wants what heart wants and my heart wants those two together! Dramas are NOT real life and in dramas I always pick the most conflict-driven option. After all, in real life, if a medieval warlord dragged someone back in time with him, the reaction would be unmitigated horror and possibly a time-traveling posse with a shotgun or dozen. In dramaworld, that same scenario means my undying excitement and unmitigated glee (see Faith).
FWIW, I think Yeol Mae will end up with Ji Hoon. Good for her, but I don't want to watch...

Urgh, Yeol Mae still has no idea his sister DIED. I just want her to hurry up and find out!
I preferred Ji Hoon back in the first episodes, when he was snarky at Yeol Mae. Now he's just too wishy-washy.

There's a lot of focus on their friendship--apparently they have been best friends for ten years and go shopping and on trips together, and while all the other guests were teasing them about being a couple they were just really adorably straight-forward: "Yeah, he's my best friend, and I love him." Somehow it makes me more okay with Ji Hoon's heart getting broken if LJW and KJS are still best friends!)

Date: 2012-08-03 08:01 pm (UTC)I did ship YM and SH. But SH never really trusted YM or had faith. He was more thinking about his own hurt than in YM's hurt. He was hidding his disease not to protect YM but his own feelings. He doesn't have faith YM will be by his side when she finds out the truth about his disease! He even called her a liar for not going until the end with him. lol He rejected again and again, and when finally she decides to move on he says she didn't really loved him and was lying about being together until the very end. So he wanted her to follow him her entire life while he rejected her again and again? So selfish.
And when he realizes that YM might not come back he finally goes to her, asks her to come cack, saying he can't be without her, that he will change, will be honest about his feelings and tell her he loves her if she wants to know and even will think in marriage for her all. But YM rejected him because she is already in her new relationship and really gave up SH.
But then she finds out he is sick and decides to go back to him. And SH doesn't know she knows about it. Yet he rejects her AGAIN because he thought it over and thinks its for the better they not get together anymore, I mean wth? Just a few days ago you said you can't be without her and asked her to come back, when she goes to you, you come back in your words and decide to reject her again and treat her badly? Oooh SH is really something. I guess YM has to jump this ship, SH will forever be in the ''let's break up and get together again''
I'm only upset with SH because he keeps thinking he is the only one who loves more and calls YM selfish when he is also selfish and doesn't share anything with her and expect her to share things to him or give up things for him (give up marriage and children) yet he can't even be honest with her and hurts her again and again, he just want her to stay by his side not asking anything and also not expecting anything from his side while he can ask and expect from her.......
