In news of other avengers against society, Kim Hyun Joong is joining the group and is filming City Conquest. I love revenge/action dramas but the difference between CQ and dramas like Bridal Mask or City Hunter is that Joo Won and Lee Min Ho have a lot of chops and so create the characters that ground the story and make me feel. Kim Hyun Joong, unless he massively improved between his last drama and now, cannot act if his life depended on it. Still, he and Jung Yumi are hella pretty together:

I love Kim Hyung Joong... as a person. But dear lord, the boy can't act to save his life.

Such a waste. "City Conquest" has such high production values and everything. Then they ruin everything with that lead "actor".

LOL I find it funny that in the still, KHJ was looking up with an expression as if he was frowning at your words about him.

And yea, I don't know who the hell thinks it's a good idea to bet on a pretty (blank) face - who cannot even save the ratings a beloved manga adaptation (Playful Kiss) - for a high budget production with so much at stakes like this! If they wanna go for idol they can at least pick someone with charisma, there are plenty of 'em - TOP, Choi Siwon, Micky Yoochun, Jaejoong. Not to mention Korea isn't short of capable handsome actors -_-

I'm curious to see how this disaster in the making pan out.

I've heard people call KHJ a mini-Bae Yong Joon. I didn't get it until I saw this profile photo. That's BYJ's nose. I wondered why he'd gone ahead and changed his previously slender and delicate nose into this, but now I get it.
