I've just started ep 15 of Bridal Mask but curiosity got the better of me and I peeked at the end of the ep

"Nice to meet you...Gaksital!"

*cue eternal screaming*

OMG, how is Kang To going to get out of this one? If he does, I do think even someone as thick-headed as Mok Dan (ILY anyway, girl!) will start to wonder, so yay!

If he doesn't...well, Shunji does have his beloved box o' nails. But look on the bright side, Kang To - you may end up bleeding from various orifices, but at least Mok Dan will nurse you back to health?

Episode 15 is a really good one!
I have no idea how Kang-to gets out of this one, but I may just have to get up at O'dark thirty in the morning to watch it live!
Because I want episode 16 now!

I wanted to tell you to watch ep 15 asap but I refrained because... because the ending!!!!! My nails are a mess. I chewed on them for the whole episode when Spider!Shunji was spinning his web and Kang To was the little fly getting helplessly caught in it. And then they threw that ending at me. I was an incoherent mess for a while and only calmed down when I started translating the episode. Ep 15 shouldn't be watched without having episode 16 at hand to see what happens next.

LOL at your picture of Shunji in the post above. He's so evil it almost scares me. Did you see how quickly he can change his expression from "I'm evil" to "I'm your best friend"? He's one scary dude. And his creepy convo with Leader Jo? *Shudders* And he's still so hung up on Mok Dan that all he can think about his her holding hands with Gaksital and shouting his rage at Kang To. Is there anything redeemable left in him? Part of me is disappointed. I'd hoped for a more nuanced character. It's inevitable that he'll have a change of heart at the end of the drama (and I'm 99.9% sure he'll kick the bucket) but I'm afraid that they've gone so overboard with him that it'll seem to be coming out of the left field. Compare him to Myun in The Princess' Man. You could see Myun being torn and uncomfortable with what he was doing. Shunji is going full-steam ahead without pausing to question his actions anymore.

Where is episode 16? I want it and I want it now!

But i'm so scared for the cast and crew. There was no preview at the end of episode 16. Best case scenario: they haven't finished the editing. Worst case scenario (and the most likely): they haven't finished filming all the scenes for today's ep. Eek! Joo Won looks like he hasn't slep in a week. How will he manage for the next 6 weeks? He need to drop out of 1N2D for a while. At this rate, he'll collapse soon.

I don't know, Shunji makes sense to me - he never really convinced me as a good guy - I do think he always had this darkness in him and now it's in appropriate conditions, it thrives. Myun was a weakling but Shunji is not, even with all his evil, a weakling. He is convinced in his rightness.

Yeah, him always having had this kind of drakness in him would kind of fit his character and would make him even more interesting. A flashback scene from his younger days where we see him kind of losing it would be nice since he was all Mr Nice Boy before Kenji's death.

From what I understood, it seems that he was actually his father's favorite. He was certainly smarter than Kenji and probably more gifted when it came to fighting skills as well. Papa Kimura must have seen something in him, something dark that he could exploit.

As it is, I'm not too happy with what they're doing with him. They should have laid the foundations for his switch to the dark side better than they did. I find Kang To's character very well written but Shunji hasn't warranted the same attention writing-wise so far.

We shouldn't have to try and fill the blanks like this. I usually love it when a movie or a book has us reading between the lines to understand something but not here.

I don't know - he feels right to me so it doesn't bother me. But I totally get MMV and all...

In case you gals have not read the preview elsewhere, here is the 'unofficial' one which I translated from chinese baidu website.

Mok Dan is thrown into confusion when she hears Shunji accusing Kangto as Gaksital. Shunji hauls Kangto in for an interrogation to reveal
how he knows of Mok Dan’s childhood name.
Anna sneaks into Asuka hotel to deal with leader Jo who betrayed Mok Dan.
Shunji tells Mok Dan that if she reveals Gaksital’s identity he will give her father an escape route.
Someone(not sure who) receives orders that Damsari be executed(not sure). Before that happens, they must quickly get Damsari to open his mouth. So he orders Shunji and Kangto to interrogate Mok Dan. When Damsari witness Mok Dan being tortured, he screams in fury like an animal. Meanwhile Anna with her group plans to barge into the station to rescue Damsari
