This episode made me beyond happy...
First, let's get all the non-Yi Soo/Do Jin stuff out of the way. Tae San and Sera finally make up! Awwwww! I confess when he told her "come into my arms," I melted like butter. I know a lot of people don't care for them, but I love them. In part because I am more like Sera than I am like any of the other ladies in this.
A little Jang Rok/Min Suk cuteness...
And now, on to the main course! I loved the picnic scene with unholy love. I wrote about it earlier, so all I am going to say is I love how she is fearless emotionally now and how she addresses every one of his insecurities, and OMFG his face throughout this whole scene. A woman could die happy if she had someone look at her with that look in his eyes...
Such a lovely, aching mirror of an earlier scene. Love her silent crying and his pain at it. Also love that she is so take-charge now, such a role reversal.
!!!!!! Speaking of parallels, now she is deliberately recreating his earlier proposal - the shoes, the kneeling, even the speech. OMFG!!!! It's perfect, just as it was perfect when he did it to her, because it combines unwavering love with conveying lack of pressure and utter certainty of patience.
It's interesting to me, how theirs is such a relationship of equals - they both got to be the chaser and the chased, the guilty party and the angry party, the passive and the leader. I think it's actually good the whole Colin thing had happened because prior to that, it wasn't fully equal - it would always be 'how lucky is Seo Yi Soo, at 35, she landed a good-looking, well-off, eligible guy' and now they are fully equals (and let's face it, I adore Do Jin, but a little of his own arrogance could stand to be taken off and now it has).

Why give us so many potentially interesting characters if they're just brushed under the rug and not developed? Stupid writer.
Even though they told us a bit more about Yoon in this episode, I still needed more. I still don't understand why Tae San insists on keeping him away from Maeri.
Even though they showed a cute bycicle scene with Min Sook / Cheating Bastard... I still don't know why they got married, why they remain together, NOTHING.
This is seriously getting on my nerves. I find myself fast-forwarding all the Do Jin and Yi Soo drama... and there's barely anything left.
The Yoon/Maeri pairing was SO GOOD at first. She was brave and spunky, exactly what someone as sad as Yoon needed. But the writer chose to be lazy and keep Maeri as a crybaby... and Yoon as a self-pitying martyr. They haven't progressed at all since the drama started and now it's hard for me to ship them.

I know the way DJ is reacting to this situation is weird for us but it seems that in Korean to be a father IS a huge change of status (specially not married...)... And the way the co-teachers react shows us the "mainstream" reaction of the Korean society: Do Jin IS a dammage good now and that would damage Yi Soo too...
This is the same for Yoon and Me Ari: hearts (Yoon/MeAri) versus society (Tae San and others...)

Yoon and Me Ahri filming airport scenes. There's inside the airport AND outside by Yoon's car. I also saw two late night filming pics <3! Airport confession from what Korean netizens saw...hehe Kim Su Roo DID tweet that Yoon would shine this week....YES!!
If we have to endure two weeks without AGD's, this weekend's episodes should be ALL fanservice with EVERY couple!
I can't believe I'll be on vacation this weekend...now I'm so packing my laptop!
