A Gentleman's Dignity - episode 5

dangermousieJust finished it and I am giggly and warm and wishing I had the next episode already. I started out being entertained by this drama and somewhere along the way, I've fallen in love. I don't care about plot or anything else, I could just watch these people forever.
Part of the reason I love AGD so much is that in contrast with the grim intesity of Bridal Mask and wistfulness of Big, this drama just makes me wildly happy. I know I used the word before, but it bears repeating - I feel warm and lovely watching it.
Plus, I continue to love the characters more and more. I was always entertained by Do Jin, but I think this is the ep I fell for him - between his subtle but clever and effective protecting Yi Soo at lunch with Tae San and Sera, to his standing up for his employee, to the off-hand mention that ever since YS blew up at him about professing liking for her but sleeping around, he hasn't been meeting women, to the way he is so amused and giddy whenever he comes up with an oh-so-clever-not-really way to see her, to the whole monitor scene which was hilarious and sexy at the same time (the way JDG looks at her when he tells her that if he stays, he might do something bad? I meeeelt. I could feel the chemistry spring off the screen). Also, the car thing at the end - loooool. That's what you get for trying to be cute, Do Jin!
I like the developing Yoon/Maeri thing - he keeps denying any interest but he redid all the shelves in her house so she could reach. AWWWW! I do think he needs a push not to take her adoration for granted while having the luxury of pretending indifference. Maybe Colin (who is v.v.v. hot AND age-appropriate and had a cool rescuing-from-bathroom scene normally reserved for romcom couples) can be some sort of a rival and light a fire under Yoon.
Also, I adore scumbag dude's wife - she rocks.
Finally, ep 6 promises me this:
"You know I love you, right?"
!!!!!!! Yi Soo, you lucky lucky woman, you!
