A Gentleman's Dignity - ep 3 gives me two ships

Well, actually this ship was already mine from the start:



But this one pretty much blindsided me. He's more than 15 years older than she is, and divorced, and her brother's friend, and so smart and quiet and oddly retiring, and she is openly smitten and chases him and he tries to push her away but you totally see he's attracted. I am normally not big on large age difference romances, whatever the genders, but when done right, I love them so so much (see secondary OTP in Worlds Within) and I think I will definitely love this one:



I continue to adore AGD, which is rather a mystery to me as it contains things I normally wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole - (a) it's a romcom (b) about 30+ and 40+ singles (c) whose heroine in some other drama I would have discussed as ditzy but here I view as adorable and quirky.

Also, it's low-key and with little plot and you know how well I normally go for low-key and low on plot.

But for some reason, I just adore it. It makes me feel good to watch these people and I don't even need a plot to enjoy my two hours a week with them.



I think I liked it, in part, as a fellow short person who has to have Mr. Mousie get stuff from the tall shelves all the time.












































Our main OTP. Most of their scenes are ridiculously hilarious and off-kilter - she is (adorably) kooky and he reverts to a five-year-old, pulling a girl's pigtails to get her attention. But occasionally, a scene comes out with no warning, that just whomps you with its sheer romanticism and I am left a puddle on the floor.




































































Preview for 4 promises us this - he is dragging her out of her arranged meeting. EEEEEE!!!!!





You know, I realized that one of the reasons I love Writer Kim so much is that in the land of kdramas where the heroine usually falls for the hero first, in her dramas, it is always the heroes who are utterly smitten with indifferent or oblivious heroines. I love that trope so much more than the reverse.

YAY for the sister and the guy!! I feel there will be angst there later on. Also, the guy on the plane next to her who was watching SeGa, I think he is somewhat related to him/them. He had the picture and the vibe that scene was given me was not good. He couldn't be his...son, or anything right? Cause then they'd like the same girl, which would be weird.

Colin is clearly related to one of the four, but I don't think he's being set up to like the sister. I dunno though...

the guy in the second otp is not divorced, he is a widow, his wife dies four years ago. i love it when he always step away from her but always finding himself keep on lurching forward
