My sense of time is off - how can Hang Ah have a painful, hospital-admittance miscarriage (and not just a heavy period or something) when she and Jae Ha got together what, a week ago at most? Is it Rosemary's Baby or something.

Honestly, I wish they didn't go that route - either the sex or the miscarriage. Jae Ha and Hang Ah have a lot separating them already - countries, tempers, evil Secretary and loony villain. Plus the fact he dumped her. Piling up a dead quasi-baby is too much. (Also, it was way out of character for Hang Ah to sleep with him but I already flogged that horse so hard it's expired).

My favorite scenes? Jae Ha v. John Mayer - that was chilling and amazing and I loved how even in his rage and grief, JH managed to bite down and react with sarcasm instead and drive JM insane (but his later screaming into the phone to SK to catch and kill JM - wow. Shivers).

And of course the scene with SK pledging his loyalty. I love their bromance. Sure, JH has earned skepticism but he already gets it from everyone. What he really needs is for someone truly to believe in him. AWWWW.

Honestly, I don't care if the OTP gets back together as long as we get JH interacting with SK and the bad guy.

OK, OK, I kid, I want them back, but I am way pissed about sex-miscarriage thing.

I am really enjoying this show. But, I think it has some timeline and editing issues. I read that scenes are being filmed for certain episodes and then pushed back or moved forward. Maybe she was supposed to miscarry later? Of course, the time line seems really off.

Yeah, it's full of plot holes. Love it anyway but their timeline makes no sense

The doctor tells Hang-ah's father that it had been about a month, which doesn't seem too wanky with the timeline. Granted, I've never been pregnant or had a miscarriage, so I can't say anything about how that played out, but as far as the timeline goes, I buy it. We're never told explicitly, but I think we're supposed to get the idea that some time has passed since that night, and also since Hang-ah got home. She says to her dad in the car that a lot of her friends have been calling her to go out, so I assume she'd been home for longer than just a day or two, most likely several weeks.

I admit I wasn't totally onboard with Jae-ha and Hang-ah sleeping together at that point - I can see how it makes sense, but I thought it felt a little forced - but I can live with it. There have been (and are!) dumber plot devices, and after Jae-ha shot her, you have to do something to top that.

I dunno - the way she was hospitalized screams more than a month but I suppose mmv and all that.

Oh well.

There are things I'm kind of overlooking, but I'm still enjoying the good stuff.

He did say it was about a month, but the passage of time isn't being very well expressed. It does seem out of character, either way.

Yeah, I can't get over the sex and normally I am all for that in dramas

Man this drama is complete crack. And I adore every second of it. I don't even care that things don't make sense anymore, I am obsessed with it. I hoped that they would have kept the baby alive. I think that would have played out better with the story, I mean what does a miscarriage do expect add fuel to the fire? She will really not forgive him for this one.

But it wasn't his fault. A big chunk of first trimester ends up in miscarriages and, in rl, as early in her pregnancy as it was, she probably wouldn't notice (the drama was way OTT with hospitalizing. In rl, it would just be a crampy heavy period).
