Bye bye, Rooftop Prince

Seeing that I gritted my teeth through most of ep 7 with extreme fast-forwarding, motivated by a bizarre sense of duty, I think it's time to call it quits.

The fish-out-of-water humor is gone and nothing I like replaced it. I find family and business and whose-mother-is-that entirely tedious (the mother mess is likely what was the final strike), the teletubbies somehow got dull, and even the only two characters I previously liked - the leads - are now boring me. Plus, I have to face that while Yoochun and HJM had plenty of chemistry with costars elsewhere, there is close to nada here.

Oh well, Queen Inhyun's Man is about to start so maybe I will have a time-travel replacement.

I'm watching RP solely for the henchmen's antics...and since they're getting about 3 minutes an episode now, and what they get isn't really very funny anymore, I'm rapidly losing interest, too.

Looking forward to Queen Inhyun's Man! Actually I'm most excited about the teaser I've seen that shows him riding his horse into the future--I want to see what he does with a horse in modern-day Seoul! (Holding out hope for a drama that treats horses as something more than furry motorcycles...)

Yeah, the whole thing is just a standard kdrama in a funny mask, and now it's losing the funny. The only thing is that it fulfills my fluff quota for the week, now that King 2 Hearts is stepping up the intensity factor.

I'm hoping Queen Inhyun's Man turns out be better! (Although who on earth tried to blatantly rip off the title of a very recent hit drama? Smart, he is not.)
