Best first meeting ever - y/y?

I have come to the conclusion that Too Late To Say I Love You is pretty much created by my id. I squealed like an idiot when I watched how Warlord and Heroine met. This is pretty much the coolest first meeting for an OTP in any drama I can think of.



Our heroine is a merchant, travelling first-class on a train from Russia through war-torn Chinese territory. Soldiers are searching for someone on the train, and our heroine has just found the quarry hiding in her cabin...














Then the soldiers come into her cabin and are about to take the guy away. And our heroine, who doesn't know the man from a hole in the ground, intervenes, very coolly and composedly. Mmm, Heroine, you are awesome!
































Yessssss! You know, any drama that has the couple making out in ep 1, to fool pursuers by using open mouths, is going to be awesome!





























Pissed-off heroine goes for the slap...








Warlord thanks her for saving his life. After she slapped him. OTP! OTP!


























Bwahahahahahahaa. Heroine is ridiculously awesome. And I totally love the way they look at each other.






































Then they have a conversation about the meaning of life etc. As one does, with total strangers who you just saved from the military and then smacked for taking liberties.

















Little do they know, the excitement is only beginning...The soldiers are back, and this time they won't be fobbed off with a lie and a pass.












































I can't cap action scenes very well because these aren't the crispest vids, but suffice it to say, they get chased by the soldiers through the train, and Warlord inflicts some major major damage...it's kinda sexy, which says disturbing things about me.








They jump off the train and continue to run...


























Warlord does some more major damage. You know, if you living in a warn-torn scary time, you can do a lot worse for a marital prospect than the guy who can take out a small army single-handed, while also shielding heroine with his own body.




















Make that "almost single-handed." Heroine picks up a rifle and knocks away the gun of the dude who is about to shoot Warlord point-blank. That's twice she's saved his life, and we are barely 20 minutes into the drama.


























Finally in safe territory. The fact that Warlord is a BAMF goes without saying, but I want to talk about the awesomeness of the heroine. She saved a total stranger even though the risks were crazy (and she's smart so she knows them), bantered with him in Chinese and Russian, then had to go on the run for her life and was super-efficient, didn't have fits or blame him, but instead helped take out the pursuers. She rocks.








He gives her his watch as a thank-you and goes away. I just know the watch is going to come baaaaaack. I've seen a drama or a hundred in my life.

Almost every time you introduce us to a new drama...
And make a post about it, I just can't help but click into one of those MVs you recommend,
And then, I am a goner.

Just like this drama...wow, I am kind of shock that it is indeed a Chinese drama!
My goodness, the kiss scenes in there *o* OMG OMG, I mean, there was clearly tongue action in one of those passionate scenes.
Wow, dare I say it was hotter than some of the Korean drama kisses!

And Wallace Chung can sure act. I forgot how good he was (since he was so underrated during his early TVB days).
Also, I found out this drama was also based on an internet novel - SAME author of Sealed With a Kiss. LOL

You are very right about the watch...it was such a crucial part of the story and will definitely come back!!!

This drama is so good and yup, I was shocked at the kissing.

I've never seen WC in anything before but now must remedy it. I've had Patriotic Knights for ages, I think it just moved up the queue.

Same author as Sealed? Wow? I mean, I can sort of see that, because both heroes are beyond obsessed with heroine, but it's funny, because I am adoring this and really loathed Sealed.

Okay, I'm sold. This looks awesome. I love that she's so smart (I already watched the first three episodes) and that they meet under those circumstances. Also, he is dreamy and makes my inner fangirl squeal.

BUT! How does this end?! I am going to be completely bummed out if it doesn't have somewhat of a happy ending for these two. i tried to find spoilers but no luck. Sigh. I may just have to deal with the suspense because this is too good not to watch.

I know, I love how smart and tough she is. I'd be freaking all over even in the very beginning and she's super-cool. As to him - mmmmm, I go hormonal.

Omg, I died when he sat in the car with her for hours because she fell asleep on his shoulder and he didn't want to move her! And then when it becomes obvious that they have been working a con on everyone acting like lovers so that he can take out his enemies, awesome. Except they are actually falling in love. Oy, this is too addicting.

And yay! I can handle a happy ending after angst. :)

I always love wallace chung's wuxia drama NI SHUI HAN where he is GU XI ZHAO, a son of whore who work for his evil father-in-law by kept trying to kill the hero of the drama because he does not want to be look down by his peers anymore and want to become a more "better" person for his kind-heart highclass doctor wife FU WAN QING. His wife was in love with her father's enemy first and does not care about her life when she meet GU XI ZHAO because she and her former lover can't be together, yet in the end, she foils her father's take-over-the-world plan and kills herself so that her former lover and the good guys will let her husband live. Oh, the angst.
