1. I am clearing some of my drama backlog, which means I am back to Me Too, Flower, a drama I enjoyed when I watched until I got sidetracked. Just finished ep 11 and I've remembered how on-key, lovely it is when it deals with its damaged yet hopeful protagonists and their dealings with the world and each other. I've rarely seen a drama couple that fits each other and needs each other so well because of their damage. (It's like a much lighter version of Bali). And yet, I pretty much am bored with everything else in this - the business storyline, Bong Sun's sister, the shrink, the annoying Hwa Young, who seems to have borrowed crazy secondary girl's playbook from circa 2002 (I love hating a good secondary like 'let me frame your husband for rape so you'll be forced to leave him in exchange for his freedom' dude in DGCH, but HY isn't even that fun to hate and I really wish someone less cool and less of a Mousie favorite than Han Go Eun played her).

2. Not watching Dream High 2 (though will likely do a selective watch once its over) but the soompi thread is ridiculously entertaining - combo of idol actors and the fact that even as of ep 13 the OTPs are not set in stone , the flamebait is strong.

Though it looks like JB and Hyesang will be the OTP - seeing that they start out as idol and his fangirl, that's pretty much THE fangirl fantasy there. I am enough of a shoujo fan (and a fan of silly poppy bubblegum) to turn in for that (or once I am sure which OTP is the endgame. I am not big on guessing wrong). This MV does a very good job of selling them:

Oh, and this confession is ridiculously cheesy and oddly cute and the acting makes me giggle. I am sold (turn on cc for subs).

Also, apparently the synospis for ep 14 includes the following: While giving chase to [Hyesung], JB was knocked down by a fast moving truck on the road because he was trying to save a little boy who was retrieving his ball. Bwahahahahahahaha! I must watch this gem. A Choi Ji Woo melo circa 2002 called and wants its plot back :P

LOLOL wtf @ that synopsis for ep 14? I'm not watching DH2 either, but I've been keeping an eye on the OTPs from a distance out of curiosity because I am forever bitter about Jin Guk & Hye Mi not ending up together in the first season. Here, the only couple I can say I like are Shiwoo/Nana, who're adorable, but the props probably get more screen time than they do, so...

I think I like the idea of JB/Hyesung as well, but the batshit writer has promised another "twist" and I saw some JB/Rian fans gloating on tumblr this morning, so something must've happened. SUCH A TRAINWRECK. And the soompi thread is just crazy and rabid. I made the mistake of checking it out once in the hopes for informative spoilers about the previous night's episode, and instead I got pages and pages of catfights as Rian fangirls desperately defended her bitchiness and JB/Hyesung shippers made snide remarks at JB/Rian fans. So, so juvenile.

At this point, I think only a delusional person cannot guess that JB/HS will end up together and this is coming from someone who cannot stand either character but the soompi thread makes me laugh cause JB/HS shippers are dying that their couple won't end up together when that would mean we literally just wasted weeks watching a drama building up that relationship as the romance of a lifetime, I mean really come on. All I know is that for my struggle of having to endure this drama. I better get YJ/Rian realizing that all their flirting means they actually like each other cause if not I will be so bitter it would not be funny.

Do not watch DH2 chinggu, no DO NOT! It's a horrible mess! The writer has no idea what she's doing I'm not kidding =_=

Dream High 2 was sold as a drama about reaching dreams and doing the impossible..etc, but when it occurred to me that drama slowly became more about love and jealousy, I dropped and sailed away from this ship-wreck. It's just that stupid.

Good riddance for me.

i was so disappointed with dream high 2 but since i have a lot of time to waste these days, i kept on watching it anyway. the plot is ridiculous and i can't relate to any of the characters at all. way too many characters and unnecessary musical numbers. but once i got over the fact that it wouldn't be as awesome as as the original dream high which i adored, it isn't really that bad.

for the first few episodes i really thought that the otp would be haesung+yoojin then jb+rian as secondary couple. but now it looks like they're leaning the other way around and i hope it'll stay that way. haesung+jb is much cuter and i adore the rian+yoojin developing friendship. i'm still not sure what will be the endgame though. it reminds me of the samdong-hyemi-jingook triangle from season 1. that one gave me a hard time and it really confused me on which guy is the one lol. i prefer dramas to clearly establish the real pairing early on so i won't ship the wrong otp haha.

That's pretty much how I felt about Flower. I fast-forwarded through all the other characters (*especially* HW) , but the main couple couldn't have been more perfect, achingly real.

I watched one episode of DH2. I'm thinking "please show, make me care". Show laughed at my petty needs.
