Also, I feel such a loathing for the secondary guy that I haven't felt in years. In part because the whole teacher/student thing is beyond skeezy but also because he's an utter bastard. He gives me rage fits whenever he's on-screen.

Not related, but if you are pining for Shut Up Flower Boy Band icons, the awesome timescout made a lot and they are wonderful.

I loathe Coach-nim too. What he says isn't wrong, but the cold, overbearing way he says those things is just infuriating! I wish someone would knock him down a peg or two, just to remove that all-knowing smirk on his face.

The K version really made me emote strong feelings unlike the original Jdorama...feelings of real love for the leads and their friends, and also...feelings of distaste towards the teacher. I just don't like him...his cold, though often correct, way of handling people and things has stepped past the boundary line between confident and arrogant. And in the J version it didn't occur to me this strong that she married her high school teacher. In the K one, I'm quite put off by it. Oh well, I'm oldfashioned....=P

I am so glad someone else is watching this. This drama is getting so little fandom attention, which makes me sad.

But yes, this feels much more moving than the jdrama. As to the teacher, sure I thought it was wrong in the original, but here I am sure I'd loathe him even if he wasn't her teacher.
