So, I finally got interested to check out Hunger Games trailer, and it's fine except for one huge thing - the actors are way way WAY too old! I normally don't care about Hollywood's propensity for 20+ playing young teenagers, but the whole point is that the Capitol makes entertainment out of murdering children and making children murder each other for their amusement. Nowhere near the impact if it's a bunch of adults.

Also, Katniss is way too well-fed. She doesn't look like she's skipped a meal in her entire existence.

Well, Josh Hutcherson's my age (19), and I think most of the actors are around there (and some of the tributes are still in high school I believe). I don't mind suspending my belief if it's going to be good (which I'm really believing it will be!).

I always thought Jennifer Lawrence had too much of a baby face to look like Katniss. I know she definitely is a talented actress; it's just that I've always pictured Katniss with a leaner, angular face to go with her personality.

Yep that was the issue I have had with the trailer. In the novel she was on the verge of malnutrition, constantly hungry and she had scars etc. (they used some kind of skin technology to make her skin smooth later in the novel) This actor actually looked more like Katniss in that film, the one she was nominated.
