Ummm...yeah. I've spent the entire evening, once Baby Mousie went to bed, reading fic. More specifically, Finnick/Annie fic. No surprise there - if you know my preferences, you know I'd be all over that ship like a loon.

Anywho, here are two Finnick/Annie fic recs - both long and both are R/NC-17 for pretty obvious reasons.

Treading Water by the awesome [livejournal.com profile] sabaceanbabe. She used to write awesome Farscape stuff and I am glad to see she's just as good in other fandoms.

Scylla and Charybdis by [livejournal.com profile] puella_nerdii (who wins for the most awesome user name ever. Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] littledelusion, for the link).

This reminds me. How do I go about downloading fic on my Kindle?

EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Thank you so much for the rec! :D

As for downloading to your Kindle, for mine, I either download from AO3 if the fic is available there, because it can be downloaded as a .mobi file. Otherwise, I try to save the fic as a PDF and Kindle has a way to email the PDF to yourself via your Amazon Kindle account so that it can be converted to a Kindle-usable file. It works, but the formatting is sometimes a little off. All of the files I've downloaded from AO3 have worked like a charm.

Scylla and Charybdis and A View From the Lists (I think that's the name of the sequel) are fabulous.

If I can't dl a .mobi from A03, I make a .pdf (google docs will do this if you don't have any other way) and drag/drop or c&p into the documents folder of Kindle since it will read .pdfs. When I do this, I try to enlarge the text so it's more readable. I've been reading all my fic on my Kindle for the last year and a half, and it works a charm, esp. for long fics.

Glad you enjoyed it! It's the fic that took me from extreme interest to extreme shipping obsessio.

THANK YOU.

These two are my sole OTP for the Hunger Games (I started out liking Peeta/Katniss but in the end found I didn't really care?). I love them so much, and yes, particularly for the angst/tragedy of it all.
