So I just picked up Matthew Stover's novelization of Revenge of the Sith* on kindle. I have a paper version somewhere but digging through my piles of books is kinda insane.

* I hold the highly unpopular opinion of finding RotS the best of SW movies.

Hmmm, maybe I should catch up on Clone Wars as well...

Haha, as long as you don't think AotC was the best movie, you're fine in my book. ;)

RotS is definitely the best novel adaptation of the series, though. The last page is one of my favorite novel endings ever.

Slightly related... a penny for your thoughts on Star Wars 3D?

I found AotC entertaing but nope, RotS wins by a mile.

I think 3d is pointless so I won't be seeing them, but I see no harm as long as 2d version remains as well.

Except for some parts, I think RoTs is almost better than Jedi. Almost but since I love Luke and Vader's battle more than Anakin and Ob-1's I have to go with Jedi. Plus there's H/L stuff that I've loved since 1980.

I prefer RotS but I can see the Jedi love and share in it :)

Yay Star Wars! RotS is awesome, and possibly my favorite as well, though I think I am in the minority not liking the novelization. Stover's characterization is way off, imo.

Also, though I haven't been commenting, your posts on Farscape have me intrigued. I would totally watch it if I hadn't cancelled my Netflix subscription.

Amazon has Farscape on streaming too. It's really good, though the first season starts slowly.

Hey, welcome back ;).

There are times when I think ROTS might actually be the best of the series. But for me it's like picking the best of the dessert table, heh heh. I don't know how behind you might be with Clone Wars, but Season 4 has been amazing so far.

I am so behind in Clone Wars, it's not even funny (Mr. Mousie is pretty up to date though). I am probably just going to get dvd sets for past seasons and binge.

I didn't think RotS was terrible story-wise. Then again, I have a soft spot for tragedy. Poor Anakin. =(

You should definitely watch Clone Wars when you get the chance! It gives the writers more room to really develop the characters. Plus, I just like watching. =D

I plan to catch up with CW.

And yeah, poor poor Anakin
