LJ is dead today. Is everyone protesting SOPA/PIPA?

I am booooooored.

Hmmm, should I try History of Salaryman? But then seeing I am watching Padam Padam, What's Up, Fermentation Family (about to start), Qing Shi Huang Fei, Hungry, Skip Beat, Kingyo Club, Smile, Arakawa under the Bridge, Gou, Moon/Sun, Ojakgyo Brothers and probably other things I am forgetting atm, perhaps I should not add more before things blend in my head.

Blah. Stop being quiet, LJ! I just finished the latest Simon R. Green book (The Bride Wore Black Leather - excellent as always - he's my favorite working scifi/fantasy author for a reason. Now gimme another Drood book, I need to know what happened!) and need stuff to do!

Those are a lot of shows :D

By Drood, you mean that Edwin Drood?

I would protest SOPA, but I'm not in a position to do so since I don't live there.

Omg, I need to get this ASAP. And I say it as a rabid fan if the 1939s version,

It's the only version I've encountered. It's kind of ridiculous, but rather fun. One of the most entertaining things is how his suit is practically immortal (It falls off buildings! Gets shot at! Spends the night in a dirty hut! Rolls down hills! I think it also fell into a river at one point, but I'm not sure. All without a stain or snag!) and then Lydia Leonard's character just comes along and literally blows it up.

I'm on What's Up episode 14 and the show just kept getting better throughout the series. I wish this was one drama that was longer.

Apparently the episodes were supposed to be more than an 1hr? I hope the extended episodes are released sometime.

And the song selection continues to be amazing as well.

I wasn't protesting, just got nothing to post about. :D

So busy studying & arranging stuff I've not really been watching anything. But I'm still following your kdrama caps posts, for the pretty and just to see what is out there. (I should watch more, if nothing more than for language practise!)

How's Padam Padam doing? I left off at ep6 when work and Sherlock took over my life.

It has been getting better and better, and I am now in love with both KC and his angel. They do somewhat cross the line of 'bromance' in some cases, but I think that is just my Americanized thought process.

History of a Salaryman is FANTASTIC. It gets better every episode. and its the best thing i am watching right now. that is alot of shows you are watching tho so maybe you wanna wait a bit before starting it? But definitely give it a try when you have a chance.

I am so angry about the SOPA/PIPA crap I don't even know how to articulate the ornery. I mean do they not realize that there are smarter people online than ANYTHING they can come up with in the government? Hell they are still trying to figure out the virus' that have been attacking their ass. Grr, I mean when I think of trying to milk more money out of the public I think attack attack attack, THEN I think it is their (consumers) fault when we give them crappy remakes of the same ol' crap over again cause we don't have an original thought EVER. That will definitely make me want to spend 50+ to go see a movie. It would seem that they learned nothing from the Napster debacle...

Morons. By all means keep poking the bear...by all means.

I agree with you. I'm not against protecting intellectual property and whatnot, but when SOPA/PIPA can literally just shut down a site just for linking to something they call 'illegal' (say even a video of some old show), without notice, without appeal, it's scary. Plus, I depend on the Internet for TV - hello, I don't even own a television. Gah, this just makes me so mad. How exactly is distributing content over the Internet exactly piracy? It is a gray area, sure, but libraries operate on the same principle: one sale, which benefits hundreds of people. Are they going to crack down on libraries now?
