Koala's awesome blog put Hanbando (Peninsula) on my radar. But it was this picture that turned me from interested to officially pre-obsessed:



Can one picture single-handedly make me add Hanbando to my three most anticipated 2012 kdramas (along with Rooftop Prince and Bridal Mask)? Well, when the picture is of stars Hwang Jung Min and Kim Jung Eun, who are supposed to play a couple who rise through political ranks and get emrboiled in intrigue in an alternate universe unified Korea? HELL FREAKING YESSSSSS!!!

The teaser does not hurt - it gives me IRIS vibe flashbacks, and if you remember how I was obsessed with IRIS, that's a great thing.

I need this right now! Luckily, it's airing on ChosunTV in February. Bring it on!!!

Oh wow, that looks awesome. I've ignored this one mostly because the show synopsis never sounded interesting, but damn, I should have looked a bit closer at the casting. Hwang Jung Min has impressed me in everything that I've seen him in (at one point I even thought that he'd become my new obsession, but then I got distracted by other things). And that preview was flawless. Definitely going to check this one out (on the downside, I can never seem to tolerate Kim Jung Eun enough to finish anything that she's in. Hopefully my admiration for Hwang Jung Min will cancel that out).

The PD/writer team behind Hanbando is impressive, so expectations are quite high and I'm rather curious myself to see the results.
