Have just finished ep 8 and I WANT UEE'S CHARACTER TO KICK THAT WHOLE HORRIBLE FAMILY OUT AND SEE HOW THEY LIKE LIVING WITH NO MONEY AND THEN I WANT THEM RUN OVER BY A TRUCK!!!!! She can keep Joo Won
ARGH!!!! They kick her out after stealing the proof of her ownership of the farm (she's rather naive, not putting it in a safe deposit box). ARGH! Even for those family members who didn't steal stuff, they KNOW, document or not, she is the rightful owner, and they kick her out, knowing it means she'll starve in the gutter. And then Ryu Su Young's character (WHO I WANT TO MURDER, THANKS - leaving aside Uee, he just blithely wrecked his brother's career) steals Joo Won's investigation info and broadcasts everywhere that Uee got into college via bribery (not true, btw) so she can't attend school any more and gets horribly bullied in school too and ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH!!!
OK, to calm self down, have a bit of Uee/Joo Won. Their chemistry is insane, especially when they are blazing mad at each other.
YUM. It helps that they are also the two characters I don't want to strangle :)

I am going to cut some slack to three of the four brothers because they haven't taken the docs, haven't seen them, and probably are 'eh, she's a stranger, who knows the truth of her claims, whatever' and because they are obeying their parents. BUT! The father KNOWS the farm belongs to Uee, whatever happened to the documents. Grandma can order the whole family to take her in and the mother (!!!!! die! I may ship JW and Uee but the thought of that hag being a mother-in-law? UGH!!!! Not sure even JW is worth that) stole the documents and is blithe and kicking her out. BITCH! (I am also not cutting slack to journo brother because he knew his 'article' would make Uee's chances of survival go from 'grim' to 'none' and he didn't care).

Date: 2012-01-08 07:34 am (UTC)Also I DESPISED Ryu Su Young's character in the first part of the drama. Irresponsible, incredibly selfish and self-centered scumbag...but don't worry, the drama puts him through satisfyingly hell and he grows up a lot later so I worked my way around to forgiving him. Also, that's one of the things that made me love Joo Won all the more...he's so clearly the only (well, relatively, you get to see how desperately messed up on the inside he is later) well-adjusted one of the family, the only one with a level head who has a good job that he cares about and is steady. He's such a great character I really rooted for he and UEE to get happiness however means necessary. For most of the drama all the other characters could jump in a lake for all I care. Mmm, I really need to catch up with this - it's such a long drama that after around episode 30 I took a break, need to pick up again.

Date: 2012-01-08 08:45 am (UTC)Especially the mother. It doesn't help that Uee's character is such a darling to them later on. I skip every scene involving only the parents, which is the only way for me to watch this thing otherwise I'd take forever to finish it.
Heeee, don't you just love the sparkly chemistry between Uee and Joo Won?

Am meh on the father. Want to strangle the rest (but not before having protected sex with RSY's character :P. That's probably my RSY love talking, the character himself drives me nuts)
