cleobulle, who shared all my reservations, seems to have adored ep 1, I am caving in and checking out the first ep of The Moon That Embraces The Sun a.k.a. 'your love is doomed doomed doomed' sageuk.
My biggest problem has always been the age difference between Kim Su Hyun and Han Ga In, who play the star-crossed pair. But Koala had a great, story-based explanation, which satisfied me. And then, the thing looks so pretty and angst and, plot-wise, so up my alley, I can't resist. (Still - 6 childhood eps? I know the plot of that portion and are 6 eps really necessary?)
Also, random, but are the childhood version of the OTP played by the kids who played the OTP in Iljimae?
