But oh my God, the look on Jung Woo Sung's face.

This is both very good (I am going to be obsessed with this drama, I can tell) and horrible (I am going to be a complete wreck).

One of these days, I will actually find a drama or movie that doesn't put JWS through nine circles of hell and that is not Athena. And then the world will end.

It's on darksmurf and hulu and I honestly can't rec it high enough. I am about halfway into the first ep now, and I love every second. It doesn't feel like a drama but like a clever indie movie. Plus, Kim Bum and Han Ji Min are both doing wonderful jobs but it's pretty much a JWS showcase and he's knocking it out of the park.

I can't wait! I've been on board since you posted that trailer. I'm going to get on this as soon as I finish marathoning TPM which atm is killing my heart in about 700 different ways.

I need to reply to your TPM posts! It gets even better and keeps going through to the end. I agree with you - they start so functional and then all the horribleness happens and they turn into screwed-up wrecks (and if you think they are screwed up as of ep 11, you ain't seen nothing yet).

Basically, my fave drama for 2011 is going to be a fight between TPM, City Hunter, Tree with Deep Roots and Padam Padam.

Which reminds me, I need to do an end-of-year post.

I am on ep 13 rn and sfkhdksjfbdfg I am on the edge of my seat! God, this drama is SO GOOD. Everything from the acting to the music is absolutely fantastic.
The OTP is killing me. I cannot wait for their reunion. I want to see how or if they get past the bloodshed and try to be together or even admit their feelings again.

That's what really gets me too is that they would have been perfect and so functional and happy together if it wasn't for these terrible circumstances and now they both need therapy forever (if they survive that is).
Also I want evil secondary guy to fall into a pit of vipers. I do not care for his wangst over Seryoung loving SY and not him.

Oh I am looking forward to your list! I feel like this was a really good year for dramas. So many good dramas with amazing acting and writing. City Hunter <3 Imo that drama did everything right.

I am not going to spoil but I am going to say that the way this is going to go makes so much sense.

I hate the Secondary Guy - every time he moans about how hard it is to betray your friends and kill their families, I want the roof to cave in on him.

Considering how many times he's choked her so far (almost halfway through ep 14 now), I don't see how this OTP will ever work. I'm so excited to see the ending!

Ugh ifkr! Oooh woe is me I betrayed my friends and I totally made the right decision and I don't need to apologize to anyone!!!! Feel sorry for me please because my life is just so hard and nothing's my fault!!!! God just stfu and fall off a cliff or something.

Are you using darksmurf subs for Me Too Flower? Or are there other softsubs for the drama?

I am using Darksmurf. There may be others, but I find DS well enough.

I am impressed at how secondary guy at TPM makes it all about himself in every situation.

Ep 14 is my fave thing ever.

It is so amazing. Except for Athena, JWS' last drama was 16 years ago (!!!!). I am so glad they convinced him to take a break from the movies.

His movies are really good. I am especially fond of Daisy.

I'd stay away from Athena. IMO, it's an abomination, and I say that as both a fan of most of the cast and its thematic predecessor, IRIS.
