Am on episode 3 of Me Too, Flower and I truly truly love both Yoon Si Yoon's character and YSY's portrayal of the same. I have always been drawn to characters with hidden damage.

You know, this drama has nothing in common with Mars, but in one respect it does remind me of it - we have protagonists both of whom are messed up, but while we realize that with the heroine right away, only as the drama goes on do we realize that hero might be even more messed up than she.

Btw, the awesome Koala is loving this drama. If you are caught up, you should check out her posts (I am trying to stay away as am behind and am, for once, spoilerphobic).

Alright, comparing it to Mars does it. I will watch this asap.

Now that kdramas have cable and can do more edgy subjects, I keep hoping someone will adopt Mars! Hmmmm, who should be in the roles?

Lee Min Ho and Moon Geun Young. Albeit looking younger than their TW counterparts, they do hit the college age. Vic Zhou and Lee Min Ho do not look a like but there is something aesthetically similar in their faces. I think it is the dark and pronounced facial features. They stand out on the screen. I can also imagine Lee Min Ho with long hair, playing the fractured but sexy Ling, although, I don't know if he is capable of bulking up.

Moon Geun Young. Hmmm, I think actually Park Min Young would be good for this role too, but I think MGY has the better acting chops required to portray the quiet introverted-ness of Qi Luo.

Omg, writing this makes me want to rewatch it so much.

OMG, I love your pick - perfect! I don't even think LMH needs to bulk up - he was very believable as a fighter in City Hunter as he is. And he certainly can do the irresistible, violent, wounded vibe. And MGY would be perfect - she can play anything. (Of course, I'd kill for a PMY/LMH drama reunion, bit I do think MGY would be better).

Alternately, Kim Bum as Ling? He was great as a violent troubled kid in East of Eden, though I think physically he's probably not the type.

When I think of the Ling vibe, I think Jang Hyuk actually, only much much younger but with acting chops of his present-day self. And if I could pick Qi Luo without regard for age, I'd go for Shin Minah, on the basis of Mawang and ALTK - she can portray both goodness and damage effortlessly.

Koala just posted a recap of episode 9, which I haven't seen yet, and I'm having a *really* hard time keeping myself from reading it.

I know, YSY is really doing a wonderful job in this drama. I'm not at stanning level as yet but he is no longer drama kryptonite for me and that's a huge plus.

I'm all caught up and currently live streaming, so strong is my obsession. This and ojakgyo brothers are the only currently airing shows I'm watching as they air, and OB sure as heck isn't being watched live.

It only gets better.

Yes. I am surprised how good he is - he was charming but lightweight in Baker King.

Well, it's not the same in character types, outside of that one similarity.
