This is very, very OT, but how did you like The Summer Garden from the Tatiana and Alexander trilogy? I remember you quoting parts of it back when you were rereading, but I never knew if you loved it as much as the two prior books :)

I loved it until it got to Vietnam and then I was OK with it but I didn't love it, mainly because I couldn't care less about Anthony - I was in it for Tatiana and Alexander's relationship.

Your Jilly Cooper book talk is making me want to reread them lol. Oh but if you want something to continue then I'd say carry on with Apassionata which is set in the classical music and orchestra world. You'll be happy to hear Rupert and Taggy make an appearance. Actually a lot of her characters turn up in all the books lol.

I am reading Apassionata right now and it's such fun. Oh, and eeeee, Taggy and Rupert continue to be such love (I have no idea why I ship them so but I do).
