I just really loved this scene for how quiet it was. FBRS is a very loud, frenetic drama at times, wonderfully so, but it makes the odd quiet moment work even better. Plus, I love how much it can convey with so few overt, in-your-face speechifying bits. And so it goes here, when Eun Bi very simply says that she is sorry if she's caused Chi Soo all this torment (he's been drama-queening that he's got a disorder now and can't function) and it's just as well she's not cut out to be a teacher and they won't have to see each other again. I just love how honest and oddly mature Eun Bi can be when necessary and I also love Chi Soo's face throughout the whole thing because the second she touches him, you can tell he pretty much stops processing anything else - he is so freaking in love and has no idea. And that is why, even though I understand why people like sleepy chef, ultimately I am all about Eun Bi/Chi Soo - because those are, to me, the most intense and engrossing scenes, where they are like this or where they are bickering like five-year-olds. Plus, there is potential for conflict in that relationship which is absent with sleepy chef.

OK, this one is the opposite of quiet :P She is about to take stomach pills (ah, kdramas and their toilet humor) when Chi Soo bursts out of nowhere, tearing it out of her hands and throwing it out - he is clearly assuming she was about to off herself. Which - I know Chi Soo is a drama queen supreme (he is pretty much Tamaki with an attitude) but it seems like a very odd conclusion to jump to even under those circumstances. Did his mysteriously absent mother off herself or something? Or is he really the ultimate drama queen? Whatever the truth, all I can say is Jung Il Woo is freaking hot!

Totally agree chi soo/eun bi is where all the intensity is. Just watching Chi Soo flail around like a besotted school girl does my heart good. I just love it when the lead guy is hopelessly madly in love. its just so fun to watch! and real romantic <3 albeit in a twisted way lol. HAHAHA omg when he thought she was gonna kill herself I was CRYING from laughter. what a drama queen! what a goof. the next ep does a good job of showing WHY he comes to such an extreme conclusion which is even more hilarious but yeah I love crazy chi soo. even if i worry about his grasp to reality sometimes lol

GUHHHHHHH, THIS SHOW. people keep referring to it as fluffy and shallow at base but – dude. to ping on the tamaki connection (loves it), it's obviously not as frenetic as nodame but it's got the same cracky hilarity belying these poignant moments which're all the more epic for it.

all I can say is Jung Il Woo is freaking hot!

amen.

it's from a tv show, actually! geet. it's still ongoing which means i've long stopped watching (curse you indian drama conventions) – last year, when it was good, everyone i knew was obsessed with it. it was actually epic. gorgeous cast, talented actors with N U T T Y chemistry. both purely romantic and totally sexy and :'( if they released it on dvd i'd be there in an instant. it was being subbed on viki too but i think it's all broken links now. ;\

Ah, you need to watch episode 6 to understand how CS came to that crazy conclusion. It's pretty funny :o)

I'm loving FBRS as well. It took me out of my Kdrama slump. I'm currently watching FBRS, 99 Days with a star and Man of Honor. I'm also making the Tree With Deep Roots softsubs for the Viki team translating it but I hadn't really watched a full episode (I only watched some parts to check the timing was right all the way through) until episode 12. Now I'm really starting to get into it. It doesn't grab me the same way TPM did though.
