I am barely 15 minutes in but I am obsessed and mesmerized by this. If this keeps up, this might be the best drama I've seen this year. Smart and fast and so intense. And Jang Hyuk. Jang Hyuk. Nobody can do intense the way he can. Or look as dangerous and desperate at the same time.
Anyway, I am in love.

Date: 2011-11-20 11:07 pm (UTC)However, I didn't like TWDR as much, or more like I wasn't clamoring on each new episodes in the beginning because young Dol Bok was annoying with all his screaming, anger against everyone. It's understandable for him to be like that after all that's happened but dunno why I couldn't connect with his character. Perhaps it's because of the actor's performance. Or maybe it's because Song Joong Ki was so great at portraying Sejong's internal conflicts and turmoil that I love this character more and since Dol Bok is out to kill the king, I can't root for Dol Bok.
I'm currently on ep 5 and certainly looking forward what's coming up since I've been reading nothing but praises for the later episodes!
