Because I am about to watch the (hopefully) cheesy dance romance Step Up.

Why?

1. Trailer for The Vow reminded me of my thing for Channing Tatum.
2. I love cheesy dance movies - hello there, Dirty Dancing!
3. I am a sucker for guy from wrong side of the tracks/ladylike gal stuff.
4. I have no shame.

I have no shame either, I watched this and all its sequels. Including the second one of which nothing was really worth the time other than the dance sequences. Luckily that's precisely why I picked it up and now I know to rewatch them all on youtube.

Hee, I saw half of this once it is cheesetastic. Have you ever seen The Cutting Edge? I have a feeling you'd LOVE that. I sure did and I dont even have the same fetish as you but I liked it anyway XD its a lovely little 80's film about an ex hockey player and a lady figure skater and their partnership on the ice. that said my fave pairings would be a rough and tumble poor gal and a prissy rich dude. which you rarely see unfortunately but it is always patently hilarious and adorable when you do see it. A nice example was Secret Garden which had its share of issues but otherwise was lovely.

Cutting Edge - the figure skating nut in me overcomes cheesy movie nut. Russian pairs skaters train from childhood so I get all 'noooo! You can't win after two years' training' or whatever :P

Oh man..This movie was so bad and yet sooooo soo good at the same time... I remebered its posters everywhere in toronto and obsessing over Channing tatum when the movie came out. Sigh good times. The dance sequences were really good and I thought the leads had good chemistry. watched the 2nd and 3rd one as well...lol so it seems I have no shame either. BTW i think there is another one coming out as well.
