Also, loved this scene, with all the interplay. And also, Ballerina is a total idiot for ditching the guy who loves her for a rich jerk who couldn't care if she expired at his feet. Not to mention, who on earth dumps a boyfriend in that fashion?

Yep they have ridiculous amounts of chemistry. That scene is so good and made all the better by the fact that they didn't kiss. Can you imagine when they do though?

The way the chemistry is, once they finally do get together, if this wasn't a kdrama (even if a cable one), it wouldn't just stop at kissing - they'd be doing it on the floor.

Also, am amused because Lee Chung Ah is Queen of Morally Questionable Romance - she was the heroine of Temptation of Wolves, the love triangle of which involved a hoodlum and her half-brother.

I dont know, from what I'm seeing I dont think I'd enjoy it, even though when I first read about it I was all into it cause I love me some noona romance. But the joy for me of a noona romance is how the power dynamics can shift in the relationship when the woman is older. or at the very list the way the man and woman interact with each other can change. this woman is waaay to swooney and girlishly smitten with a guy who is in HIGHSCHOOL. its just kind of pathetic instead of romantic. it would make alot more sense for her to maybe see him as attractive but not at all interested in him cause he's a kid and she should have higher standards. and he would of course be smitten by how awesome she is and try to court her to no avail. but they strike up a cute banter anyway. something like that! the this romance is going teacher lady might as well be a highschool girl herself. plus she doesnt really have that cool mature older lady charm like sumire from kimi wa petto nor she is badass like yankumi or a go getter like the lady from ohitorisama. I dunno maybe i'm just bored and tired with timid women. i dont dislike them, i mean i am myself a timid person for the most part but really hate that aspect of myself and i get tired seeing so many ladies from asian drama with that same personality type. so i guess thats my issue. it bugs cause a noona romance to me should be refreshing but this is just more of the same. :(

She isn't smitten though, not unless he's all over in her physical space and her 'cute guy almost kissing me' thing kicks in. Most of the time she wants to drop him on his head. She doesn't tell him how much because his Daddy owns the school but seeing she used to be a thug, something tells me this will change.

(She asked him out when she thought he was an older businessman and she decided to look for a 'proper' bf and thought he fit the bill).

I do think any woman getting involved with a high schooler would have to be hella immature. That is why something like Majo No Jouken worked for me. I mean, why would a mature woman of 24 otherwise end up with a 19-yr-old high schooler?

But honestly, I totally get that mmv and all. I hated Kimi Wa Petto and Sumire freaked me out so I get that :)

I am not timid at all, either personally or professionally so it doesn't bother me in fiction, but I don't think heroine here is timid, btw. Oddball, yes. Timid, no.

The chick that plays ballerina isn't in 49 days right? I'ma have to look this up. ICAM about the ballerina being an idiot for dissin' the awesome rooster for ice king...I am only not hating on her cause you know...Il Woo looks at me I can't say my panties aren't coming off. You know...if I am honest and all so I have to give the poor girl some leeway in this instance.

So far this drama didn't hit any of my notes...but when the crazy chicken/Noona awesome came on it was off to the races. Oh and...let me join you in hoping that the writers remember this is cable.
