Before I take Baby Mousie out to trick-or-treat.
1. I watched the first two episodes of Man of Honor and liked it. Even though the story is different, I could tell it was made by the Baker King people about two minutes in - the vibe, the narrative structure, the character types. I adored BK so it's a good thing for me, but if you did not, maybe you should stay away. I confess to loving Chun Jung Myung's underdog protagonist better than YSY's underdog protagonist in BK because CJM is a much better actor. Whatever else happens, I want Yeong Gyung to find happiness. Park Min Young is her bright, adorable self - when have I not loved her? They have a lovely chemistry (the scene at the end of ep when they first meet is just amazing). Where it's inferior to BK is the secondary guy. In BK, Ma Jun was probably my favorite character and his dysfunctional relationship with Eugene's character made my top 10 OTPs that year. Here, my main emotion towards the secondary guy/antagonist is a desire for him to jump off a cliff pronto.
2. I tried with Revenge, I really tried. But I think I have room in my heart for only one trashy revenge show and it's Ringer. I will probably get back to the woes of rich people show soon, but I am very underwhelmed.
3. I continue to be obsessed with Once Upon a Time. I enjoyed the peek into Evil Queen's background in this ep, and Emma v. EQ showdown, but show, I need need NEED more Snow White! Luckily, the preview for ep 3 promises me more:
If Prince Charming will be brought out of his coma through the Power of Love (tm), I will officially decide that this is a kdrama in disguise.

Date: 2011-11-01 11:46 am (UTC)I'm on ep 6 of Man of Honor and dunno if I want to continue. There's something tepid about it. And I have an allergy to wide-eyed acting if overused. It's a pity because I really really like Pin-sshi.
