Kimi No Todoke - cutest anime ever?

I have just started Kimi no Todoke and it's adorable!



Its heroine, Sawako, would love to be a normal high school girl, but everyone is terrified of her due to her manner and look being like something out of a horror movie. But maybe, just maybe, this might change because the most popular guy in her class seems to pay extra attention to her...

It's just s sweet and cute and adorable!

Oh, I didn't realize there was an anime of Kimi ni Todoke. I'll have to hunt down a copy. The manga and the live-action movie are quite good.

Aww, I like Kimi ni Todoke! I read the manga about two years ago and I know I watched at least a few episodes of the anime. Sawako and Kazehaya have the most adorable love story that I've read in recent memory. I recall wanting to squish them together in a ball and hug 'em tight. The whole story just gives me warm, fuzzy feelings. ♥

That reminds me, I fell behind in the manga because the updates came sporadically when I was reading it. I'm going to need to catch up.

I read the manga and loved it. Such a sweet couple and is really just slice of life. The anime itself is gorgeously drawn but I must admit, that it got a bit boring towards the end and in the second season too.

Did you know that there was a live-action movie of this with Miura Haruma starring as Kazehaya? I love the movie. It's so sweet.

I first read the manga but then fell behind on updates when I caught up with the released chapter. Then I found out about the anime when it wasn't done airing and the upcoming drama. Looks like I'll have some more stuff to marathon on my days off where I've resolved to not deal with people AT ALL because my job just makes me that much more of a misanthrope.

Kimi ni Todoke is ADORABLE. I'm behind on the manga (I think I got stalled at volume 7 or something and haven't had time to go back) but the anime is a pretty faithful adaptation. It is So. Cute. ♥ Sawako's just the sweetest, most innocent thing ever, and Kazehaya is just as shy when he's around her. It's right up there with Penguin Revolution and Venus wa Kataomoi as one of my favourite manga.

You need to check out the movie version with Miura Haruma, too!

I've been keeping up with the licensed volumes of the manga and it's the sweetest most adorable thing ever. The author manages to stretch out the romantic tension to truly ridiculous heights (though it works because of her characters). I'd read it and just be dying inside at every hint of progress because it was all so hard won.

I read some of the manga... and then wanted to KILL someone.

It's kind of like Skip Beat: neverending. I absolutely HATE stories without an ending. >__< and Kimi ni Todoke is particularly BORING.

You should save yourself some precious hours of your time and just watch the live-action movie. Forget the anime and manga.

I enjoyed season one more than season 2...the first season was so cute and adorable like puppies and I wished for season two...but then, I kinda got irritated with some of the scenes and the pacing of season two and the indecisiveness of the two leads but overall it was one nice viewing experience...as for the movie, my take is it wasn't groundbreaking but waaaay better than HYD...

It was pretty good...though I hated how the ending with New Years was changed but I understood why...I love Miura Haruma though so I may be biased
