I am in an anime kinda of mood, so I am going to watch Bokura Ga Ita, which looks very pretty and very shoujo.

Also, I was going to do a proper The Holy Pearl post (am on ep 3 and am loving it) but I am sick and have the mother of all headaches (still) so have a MV instead.

I am a sucker for heroic fantasy with humor and hot people, so I am loving this.

this anime is awesome. it's very drama-like; very slice-of-life. i was annoyed by the ending though. another great anime with a similar art style is is Lovely Complex (hilarious and cute).

They made an anime for Bokura Ga Ita? I might check it out, I like the manga. Though I feel like I can already predict it'll suffer from a lack of resolution because the manga hasn't had one yet and the only way it will is if the animators go for an anime original ending.

Sometimes they make theirown ending (see Hanadan anime) so you never know.

You should keep me posted on how The Holy Pearl ends. I need a time-travel story that doesn't end badly. I'm still bitter about BBJX >_< and completely can't stand Liu Bang & Lu Hou in The Myth.

I think I got to the part where Gao Yao became a high eunuch and Xiao Chuan fell in love with the princess/concubine. But I seriously didn't want to sit around watching Liu Bang win that war against Xiang Yu.

Mousie- be careful about Bakura Ga Ita, that story pretty much ripped my heart out, its probably because I hate that sort of story line though

Spoilers: the hero's girlfriend and love of his life died, he was really hung up on her and then met and "fell in love" with the heroine- I felt like he was always pining for his first love and girlfriend, it always gave me the chills. You know my taste and I only like it when the heroine is the absolute love of his life, no one else. I don't know if that will annoy you, but just a warning-

I'm probably overreacting but the hero loving another woman is such a huge pet peeve for me

you pretty much summed up how i felt about the drama.

Spoiler: I was never really convinced that he loved the heroine. or anyway, the real love of his life was his girlfriend who was unfaithful. blech. and then just as he got over his dead gf he realized that he "loved" the heroine...but left her anyway on a train to i forget where

Glad to know I'm not the only one who disliked it, everyone else seems to love it, I don't get it. If I'm not convinced the hero love the heroine, then I pretty much dislike it, whatever it is....
