Now that BBJX is over (though am still watching, now with subs), I am in need of another suicidally depressing period cdrama. Luckily, QSHF seems set to oblige.



I am not sure which crazy lady it is, Wallace's wife or his sister, but at least she's stylish in her evil. (I sort of approve of sis-in-law solidarity as they both want Ruby dead, wifey so she can get her hands on Wallace and sis so she can get her hands on Yan Kuan).

1) The lady on top is the sister. In the poster, the wife is on Wallace's other side. This is based on the fact that he's choking the other one and whispering poisonous nothings in her ear about staying married to her forever and watching her suffer (... for harming Ruby, I think).

3) I think I'm going to stay away from heartrending historical epics for a while. Been reading Baidu posts, and at least we're not alone in all the crying we did.

2. Yes he is :) That's probably true for almost any drama :P

3. I think I'll be fine with QSHF because it looks like melodrama. The reaso BBJX devastated me so much is that somehow it felt lowkey-real.

Btw, did you hear Ruby initially wanted Yuan Hong for Yan Kuan's role? I love YH and would love to see him as the lead in something like this (he'd angst his socks off) but I am not sure he looks old enough to star opposite Ruby - he's very baby-faced. So, hmmmm.

Well, Ruby's acting opposite Jiro Wang in her next project. I would say they're more of an odd pairing than Ruby/Yuan Hong lol

really, I thought she wants yuan hong to be the long hair dude. Ruby acting with jiro wang? Last time I hear, she maybe in a project with peter ho where he is xiang yu and she is his lover.
by the way, can't wait for this drama. Too hard to pick, yuan kuan or wallace. So I wait for the drama and decide who my OTP is.

It's pretty much confirmed. There was a TV festival in Taiwan last week, and that was one of the dramas for sale. They're gonna start filming when Jiro finishes the promotion activities for his movie. Rumors say it's a "superior-subordinate" relationship (Ruby being the superior) and Jiro's playing a cop. But there's nothing confirmed about the plot so far.

Yuan Hong's a bit, not young, but I can't see them having chemistry together? But also because she's tiny! It doesn't show when everybody's wearing high heels and huge headdresses, but Ruby would be absolutely dwarfed.

After watching the long trailer, I've picked my ship. Which I'm sure has about as much chance as Titanic. Oh well, it won't be the first ship I've sailed that sank with all hands aboard. :)

Finished BBJX. Re-watched each episode at least once and now completely full of angst.
Still I cannot resist the temptation of QSHF (and *cough* Wallace Huo *cough* ). I do have a soft spot for beautiful period drama.
