I've restarted My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and seriously, no words for how I adore it. The weird thing is, I don't feel mad urgency to marathon it but whenever I do watch it, I don't want it to ever stop and I feel happy.

Another thing this drama is reminding me is the Lee Seung Gi paradox. By that I mean I don't find him good-looking at all, so when his characters are being bastards (early eps of Brilliant Legacy) or immature selfish wimps (early eps of Gumiho), my dislike is not softened by finding him sexy or anything. But as soon as his characters become people I like, somehow he transforms into the sexiest, most attractive thing ever.

I completely understand what you mean about the Lee Seung Gi paradox!! I'm currently watching Brilliant Legacy (I'm just starting ep 10), and it's only now that the smallest indications that his character might actually have a heart are starting to pop up that I'm beginning to maybe understand his appeal.

Let me know how you like BL - it's one of my favorite dramas. I hated his character at the beginning and adored him by the end - he changed but it was so organic.

I'm completely in love with it! I've just started episode 14, and am now completely in love with him. It's such a startling change from how much I hated him to start with.

Lee Sung Gi is like the boy next door. I don't have any attraction to him and don't think him handsome but his presence is always welcome and I do enjoy watching him smile and be polite (especially in Brilliant Legacy :) )

Same here! Hated him in the beginning of the series when he was that selfish wimp but found him super sexy at the end.... Very weird. Maybe they don't use the same actor????
