This pretty much proves that Hong Sisters' dramas work much better for me when I can watch them in one fell swoop rather than on a weekly basis - it flows better and enables me to get past the beginning couple eps better (I find that most of the time, even if I end up liking their dramas a lot, the first few eps are usually the weakest). Also, I must stay away from the fandom in order to enjoy these because rabid, frothing at the mouth fangirls make the whole thing off-putting.

Still could do without Woong's aunt and the action director. But the beauty of marathonning is I can just skip their scenes.

I on the other love the action director and the aunt. They were the ones who got the most laughs out of me. I do like Chow Yun Fat, 80's Hong Kong films and especially A Better Tomorrow and the parodies were especially hillarious to me. Oh there is so much cuteness and angst ahead. The beginning of the drama I never thought I was going to shed tears but I did, oh I did.
