Can I ship Sannyang/Li Gexiao any harder? I mean, they were already damaged, deadly, honorable, with messed-up pasts, hot. So I thought nothing could make me ship them harder. Ep 12 proves that what seems impossible is not.







































































Though they need to work on Gexiao's major suicidal tendencies. Seriously, dude! Volunteering to drink poison as an experiment = not a road to long life!

Oh1 I just finished it (marathoned it, actually in two days and half days...I still have Chinese ringing in my ears..)
Loved it!! Loved the acting (loved Wallace Huo...yum)and the depth of the characters. Li Ge Xia being quite complex but his nemesis (can't remember the name) is very interesting too!

Loved that arc. Love San Niang! She is sooooo cool--angsty past, kickass skills, hot temper and all. I love that her boys respect her and her fighting skills: there's never any "You can't play with us because you're a girl," she's a total and integral part of the team. But she doesn't lose her femininity, either: she's a woman who just happens to be very, very good at what she does. I imagine she's a lot more fun to be around than Ge Xiao's saintly deceased wife. >.>

What's funny is that because Nicky Wu plays Kang Xi and Liu Shi Shi plays Sophia of Russia and Hu Ge plays the irreverent Wei Xiao Bao, there's some meta references to their related roles outside of this movie. And yes, there's a love triangle from the sense I got.
