I believe this is a MV for it, though since my Chinese is nonexistent, I'd like it verified:

RoaE stars Michael Tse, Joe Ma and Kate Tsui. The protagonist is a formerly ruthless Brocade Guard captain who loses his memory but develops a conscience and gets involved in conspiracies involving the throne. There are also awesome female spies! Actually, the heroine is an awesome female spy.

ooh, I have the soft copy of this one but not in eng subbed. Sadly I haven't managed to finish it either XD It was really interesting at first but it got a little complicated towards the middle, like one of the girl has this very complicated personality and the other changed her love interest (I was disappointed about that, haha).

I didn't know Sammul Chan plays a gay eunuch! I didn't know he was a eunuch to begin with. Now I understand everything, the hints etc. *nods nods*

Omegosh!! yes yes, and Sammul Chan becomes the famous Zheng He. Its all coming back to me XD There was something going on with the princess though because I thought she liked Sammul at first and Michael started to like her towards the middle. Kate is the one with dual personality. I dunno who ends up with who *shrugs* haha :)

Sammul plays an eunuch but he's not gay. In fact, he have a crush on the princess. You're shipping Michael and Kate? From the pictures, I thought you would be shipping Michael and Elaine.

I am not sure who I am going to ship tbh. The pictures are gorgeous, but then there is Girl!Spy which is awesome. I am torn. Who is the final OTP anyway?

If you ship Michael/Kate, I think you're going to be awfully disappointed. There's barely any scene of them as a couple except for the first couple of episodes. Michael and Elaine is the final OTP, but he also married Sire (Siu-Kui) (though they didn't end up together at the end). Kate ends up with Joe as his concubine, or at least "Kate" did. It's all very hard to explain without out being too spoilery but if you want to know the whole ending, then I will say it.

No, this is the opening of the TV series. You can tell because the TV channel logo/name appears in the right hand corner. It might've had the credits taken out though since normally in addition to the karaoke lyrics for the song, the actor credits appear. Or else, another more likely explanation is that it's the released creditless version of the opening theme since TVB tends to package the song along with the series so this is the official series-affiliated MV but might not be the official MV for the song as released by the artist if that makes sense.

I saw part of this on TV in HK, but eventually had to drop it because they somehow managed to include almost all of my least favourite HK actresses - Kate Tsui, Elanne Kong and Yoyo Chen. XD I love Sammul Chan and Michael Tse, but... another time, boys.

As for that clip you posted, it's the full MV. The 1:20 of it also acts as the opening of the series, but then it cuts to the credits in the episodes. This is the full version - TVB likes showing the full MV for a series during commercial breaks sometimes, which I assume is where people got that. I must admit it works, too; I'd look up to the TV over lunch and see the MV of a series that I was previously uninterested in, and it'd make me want to check it out.

lolz the only thing I rem is a guyguy bathing scene with backscrubbing. Just another proof of me weird, I ship JoeSammul and Sammul is playing a gay eunuch and I'm not buying his char is into the femalekind for a second, typical downlow.

I did check out the HuJun as XY drama back then, not my thing, but I did droolz at HuJun...A LOT. btw Peter Ho is officially playing XY next to ChenDaoMing's LB in the next GuoXiXi extravaganza, Chen Jian Bing is not at the presscon, so I guess that casting fell through *SOBBB*. To say I'm crying I dun get the CDM/CJB as LB/XY bromance is an understatement! :(
