They have insane chemistry and I always thought to myself that they should get a room and make out already but this just killed me. It was ten times better that I thought it would be. It was angsty, it was hot.. I didn't expect it at all. KW and MW, go make more babies.

I know! First, I loved it because it was so unexpected - I thought there might be something in ep 12, there wasn't, I assumed we weren't going to get anything in the near future and moved on. But then! Plus, it was just so angsty because in a lot of ways this was the only way left for her to show she loved him and for him to believe it - and I slurp dysfunction with a spoon.

I think (as far as I can figure out without subs), he thinks she's betrayed him but he loves her anyway and this sort of happens after an argument/fight they have - she's doing it in part (and she's the one who starts unbuttoning her shirt) to try to convince him she loves him. Mmmm. I don't think their bliss lasts long though, of course :(

I know! And honestly, her being pregnant is the best way for the drama to get KW to decide to go over to NK, if they want to go that way because MMW has no family left in NK and she can very well take care of herself, so if the two of them just decided to run and take their chances with NK govt coming after them, they could deal. But a baby? Eeeeek. Plus, I am pretty sure there was no birth control - she's canonically a virgin and, while I am sure KW is not, he doesn't seem to be the type to invite hook-ups to his place so...

I love the fact that KW was her first. And I know it mattered to KW...more than words could say, because in the morning after, he gave up finding about the "truth".

Please let us be right...KW was drunk, and so overwhelmed with emotions that he could barely think straight, not to mention wearing any protection.

They are SO dysfunctional and angsty, yet somehow in a way that really works I mean, really, if KW has any brain cells at all, he HAS to know there is something beyond shady going on with her and that she's using him, but he doesn't even care any more because he loves her so much he is desperate to believe her when she shows she loves him and doesn't care about anything else at all.

I never thought SMW would be THIS good!

I know, both KW & MW fit so well together...mentally and heck yeah phsyically (pervie mode). KW is willing to overlook anything, as long as MW loves him. He doesn't care...once he falls in love, this guy falls hard.

If this baby plot does happen, this drama is going to be one of the best thing ever! And sorry, I don't know how many eps this gonna be...but Poisedon is on Sept 19. So perhaps they might stick with 18eps?!

I love how obsessed he is with her and how hard he fell - my favorite kind of hero. By now I wouldn't even be shocked if he did decide to go to the North (eeeek! Don't do it!)

For some reason, this drama has a real twdrama vibe to me in general (though the fact that there is sexual chemistry which is absent in most kdramas but present in most twdramas, doesn't hurt) so yeah, give us a baby, writers!

I saw it too. I think she cried because he didn't trust her love. Like she didn't understand why he was so angry and hurt. And KW had tears in his eyes too. It was emotional for both of them.

I think it was just so intense and overwhelming - all the feelings (she loves him but he is absolutely correct that she's using him, and in a worse way than he knows), plus it's a pretty irrevocable step and a big deal. I don't think she was unwilling/regretful/afraid at all. Why would she be? She loves him.

I saw this clip on my utube subscription and jaw fell to my feet...so giddy but it was so beautifully smexy yet heartbreaking moment. To me, KW felt that this is the only way for MW to prove her love to him - which he prolly regret pushing it. and MW felt that this was the only way to prove her love because he was so darn angry and yelling at him. To overcome this tension, some loving will just solve it!

Wasn't that so amazing? I expected if we were lucky enough to get a bed scene it would be sexy (how could it not be, with their chemistry?) but I didn't expect it to be so heartbreaking.

sometimes, when so many fans are reading your recaps, you should be more neutral...instead of getting all worked up, and making a big thing out of nothing.

Ehhh, remember the insanity db site became due to her recap of the secret garden ep with forced hug???? I tend not to read recaps anyway - if it is a drama I don't watch, I don't care, and if it is a drama I watch, I do not need a recap. I think it saves a lot of my sanity.

Bizarre thing is the was ok with sorta-attempted rape in Que Sera Sera (because that is what it was even if Eric's character snapped out of it/got interrupted). Here, it is clearly consensual even if also a bit dysfunctional due to their relationship itself being dysfunctional - it is loving on both their parts if screwed up so I fail to see an issue. Ehhh, mmv and all that.

now what should i do until the next ep of SMW...this week is gonna be one long week! as much as i like ryu...i find it a tad creepy he was outside the whole night...waiting to talk to MW. eew

I can't believe KW asked Myung wol to prove she loved him by having sex with him (even if he was drunk). he's such a jerk. this is not what i signed up for. like what happened to the innocent love we saw when they were camping together? lol

I think what happened is that he found out she was using him. Again. After he gave up his careeer for her. Honestly, the scene did not bother me at all - it was dysfunctional and angsty sure (which I love), but the encounter was fully consensual - she could have said no and that would have been the end of it. Actually, it would have been better if she did, because when he sobered up, maybe he could have pushed her for answers and there is a chance she'd tell the truth (because let's face it, he still has no idea she is supposed to marry him and drag him to NK. She may love him for real now but there is no indication she abandoned the plan).

As to innocent love - I loathe its existence in kdramas (30 yr olds do not behave like 12 yr olds, kdrama writers!) so glad to see its absence here :P

I don't think Ryu heard anything - those are thick doors so even if they got v. enthusiastic, I doubt there'd be much of a sound :)

It's pretty clear MW is still set on her mission. That is going to be interesting. If KW was less caught up in emotion, he'd realize that letting him sleep with her doesn't prove anything. I mean, in this case, we know it does - she loves him and so lets him make love to her. But let's face it, a trained seduction NK spy would do it anyway, to get to her goal, so really as a test it fails utterly.

Absolutely. Sleeping with him it really doesn't prove that she loves him. But he was desperate and confused and so caught up in emotion. He wanted to believe she loves him. I am also sure that if she didn't want to do it, he wouldn't force her to have sex. And I fail so hard to describe the emotions that they made me feel. :)
