Also, Ji Sung! ((())) Someone on my flist said he was like a non-violent Domyouji and so very very true. Heeeeeeeee.

Heroine is tough and awesome and the whole thing is squeeful and a propoer post is coming up but now I must marathon!

Clearly, there is no Ji Sung drama that doesn't work for me :P

Also, if you want to know why I was boggled why Ji Sung, of all people, was the male lead in his wacky wacky comedy, have the MV for his last drama prior to that (the criminally underrated, very dark The Royal Family):

That is the type of drama I associate him with, not wackiness...So I still remain stunned that he could pull off being comedic lead.

haha, I knew you'd like it . . . and from here, it keeps getting better and better! ^_^

Six episodes in, and I continue to boggle over how endearing his character is. Normally, I find such an oddball persona unbearable, overdone, and annoying (aka, Greatest Love and Secret Garden); but here, he manages to be funny and likeable, without appearing overbearing and standoffish.

That alone is a major feat!! And even the second leads don't frustrate me like usual. It's such a breath of fresh air!

I adored JW in Secret Garden or CSU's character in Golden Bride, so clearly I am all about heroes with psychological illnesses :P (Dokko Jin in BL had no illness excuse and was also irritating as hell).

This drama is probably the fluffiest drama I've ever liked :P

Is Royal Family good? It's been on my watch list, but I never heard anything about it so I kept pushing back.

I'll wait for Protect the Boss to finish because tt's such a better drama if I marathon it. But yes, I was pleasantly surprised by it.

RF is very good. It's sort of a twisty family/revenge/lovestory drama with some really interestin dynamics.

YAY I hoped you'd like it! I loooove Ji Heon he really IS a doumyoji no wonder I like him so much. the one thing i couldnt abide about doumyoji was how violent he was so seeing that aspect gone just leaves everything else that i liked about him. ji sung is doing really well i am amazed this is his first comedic role, he's so natural in this! I also love how Eun Seol stands up for herself and isnt like ridiculously clumsy and pathetic like so many romcom heroines. and I mean as a fuck up myself I have alot of tolerence for watching heroines fuck up alot but in alot of cases it just goes to the point of humiliating and thusly hard to watch or stand. esp when they just take everything lying down. Eun Seol is awesome! I Love her friend too myung ran, everyone needs a friend like that.

I'm glad you're enjoying it, it's my favourite currently airing kdrama.
JH does resemble Domyouji, even the hair LOL, in the beginning, he also reminded me of JW in Secret Garden. This drama has such a fast pace and isn't as predictable as most romcoms. The OTP is awesome, their scenes never bore me, can't wait to see how the romance unfolds. And the bromance is just priceless, I never expected to enjoy it as much as I do now.

I am very surprised at my level of enjoyment because I normally hate office dramas (Sapuri is the sole exception, unless you consider Worlds Within one). I am not really strongly shipping but I love their interactions.
