Should have remembered Pick the Stars made me angst like mad in the last 1/3 and it was only 20 eps

My main emotions upon watching ep 31 of Gloria were a strong desire to weep and an even stronger one to keep banging my head on the wall. I hurt for Dong Ah and Yoon Seo, but not as much as I do for Kang Suk and Jin Jin. (I know why KS is doing what he is doing and totally understand it/am on board with it, but if I were Jin Jin, I'd be yelling at him like a banshee and don't even get me started on the whole hell Kang Suk is going through, largely for the sake of Jin Jin).

In conclusion, Creepy must die!

So, to cheer self up (because the fact that lack of desire to sort 300+ caps for this ep this late in order to narrow them down to a more manageable number is not the only reason for my delaying the recap - I also need to get less emo or all the captions will be some variation on "bawl"), have this adorable BTS pic. It's Bae Doona and Suh Ji Suk with the actors for Eo Jin and child version of Bae Doona's character. SQUEE!!!

Argh, MBC, wtf is wrong with you?!

Apparently, no episodes of Gloria aired this week due to some sports games. And next week they are only airing one ep, on Sunday. They only aired one last week!

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU, MBC?!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't like waiting for eps, but that is a minor annoyance. What worries me is that this two-week-sorta-hiatus is bound to affect the ratings badly (remember what happened when SBS put Bad Guy and Coffee House on a similar small hiatus? Yeah). And MBC is a known "cut cut cut" station. Gloria hasn't been the biggest blockbuster of the year, but it had respectable (if modest) ratings. If the ratings nosedive, I can totally see MBC cut it which would be a travesty because the pacing in Gloria is just perfect and also because I don't want to lose a second of this drama, ever. Also, being MBC, they'd probably cut it so last-minute a wrap up would be insanely hard and mess things up - see Strike Love and Heading to the Ground (the latter was a sucky drama but even it didn't deserve the last-minute insane cutting it got - it turned the drama nonsensical). Argh! There is also infamous example of Tamra,though it escaped largely unscathed due to being fully filmed by the time they cut (and they let them know early) so it was just the editors working overtime. But I don't think Gloria will be fully filmed and...
