I've been rewatching The Myth and, yes, it is still my favorite drama ever and one of my favorite works of fiction, period. I have never seen anything like it before or since. Have a general, nonspoilery MV.

It also has some amazing scenes and I, always list-conscious, wanted to make a list of my Top 15 scenes.

List of scenes here, spoilery for the whole drama. In no order )

I liked IAL after the first two eps but after eps 3 and 4 I am officially, madly in love.

I love that this drama gives its characters space to breathe, I love that they are adults, I love that female friendship is prominently featured, I love the chemistry between hero and heroine, I love the soundtrack (they did a cover of Pugacheva's Million of Red Roses - it as surreal to hear it in Korean), I love Kim Jung Eun's tough heroine with glimpses of fragility who has ditched her stifling awful society marriage to go back to music, I love her outrageous, louder-than-life friend Fa Ja, I love her brittle fake cooky frenemy Ra Hee, I love Lee Joon Hyuk's former rock star who is now tutoring this weird ahjumma band. I love to hate Kim Jung Eun's sleazy soon-to-be ex-husband and his mistress, the equally sleazy divorce lawyer.

Since I've ran out of downloadable subs for Giant (post coming up), I continued with Baker King. And got the shock of my life!

You mean this is what the scruffy little kid protagonist of the first 6 eps grew into?????

Someone who looks like Lee Junki's brother and is generally ridiculously, ridiculously gorgeous?????

O-M-G.

Seriously.

I enjoyed the first 6 eps well enough (though I was getting a bit impatient with the childhood part - 6 eps is my limit and thankfully that is all it was). I was pretty sure I would enjoy the remaining 24 eps too - I happen to love family/business/revenge sagas. But I never expected to be swooning over the lead! I've never even heard of him before the drama (or most anyone else in the cast for that matter - though I bet they will all have great opportunities with Baker's mad success) but it's like hitting the jackpot.

Swoon swoon swoon drool. If you guys would have posted a pic or two of him earlier, I would have been watching this weeks ago. Yes, I am THAT shallow.

My interest is now officially high. Now give him an OTP and some manpain, and we are set.

In an unrelated to hotness Baker matter - is anyone else wondering whether it's going to be the first drama in a long time to break the 50% ratings barrier? It's only a few decimal points away from QSD's best rating so far.

Jackpot!

Joking aside, I really liked ep 7 - it was fun and twisty and with some h/c. I see a marathon in my future.

You cannot possibly imagine my shock when ep 4 of I Am Legend had the characters do a Korean cover of a famous Russian song Million Roses, sung originally by Alla Pugacheva (the story of the song about a painter who sold all he owned to buy the object of his affection a million roses).

Have the song:
