I like some wuxia dramas but ROCH is the only one I truly love - I don't know if it's the epicness, the gorgeous visuals, hurt/comfort out of this world, the to-die-for forbidden love story, or the fact that Crystal Liu and Huang Xiaoming are the most beautiful people I have ever seen.

He is an orphan who stumbles into a cave where a mystic, slightly older martial arts master leaves. She teaches him and eventually they fall in love but the world views master-student relationship as akin to parental so everyone is against them - but that is only yhe beginning.

GUHHHH. I went insane watching it.

She is a people-avoiding, nerdy otaku, obsessed with the manga character of Prince Casaba (her room is basically a shrine).



He is a narcissistic but washed out teen idol with less than ideal personality.



As a publicity stunt to get back some of his popularity, he agrees to get a college diploma and enters the college our heroine attends. You can imagine what eventually happens.



It is incredibly cute so far (granted, I am only partway into ep 1) and I adore both Rainie Yang (always so funny) and Jiro Wang (who I have always wanted to see as a lead).



So yeah, go watch!
