He's so very pretty! And actually not in a drama which makes me want to stab self in the eye (I am looking at you, Sunao ni Narenakute!)



I really hope he won't chase after heroine but instead have an awesome secondary OTP with Wang Ji Hye. I do wonder wtf is wrong with him to feel jealous of and want to one-up Ji Heon when JH is a screw-up who can't get anything right and he's the golden boy. That's like beating on a puppy - pretty pointless and kinda mean.

Speaking of JH - three eps, and my impression of him is that he's basically this overgrown kid - impulsive like one, scared like one (he can't sleep without lights on!) and clingy and emotionally vulnerable like one. He and heroine have a pretty adorable, interesting dynamic. She almost mothers him, but not in an icky Oedipal way. There are hints he used to be normal until something happened (I wonder if it was the death of his brother or maybe something else - there is a flashback at the airport with WJH's character where he was going to meet her but then got a phone call, freaked out and got his panic attack in a crowded place - maybe that is why he has agoraphobia, he associates it with whatever he found out on the call). Hmmmm.

I decided I definitely want the drama to end with those two as a secondary OTP, but wouldn't mind seeing more of him and heroine flirting/ultimately deciding they'd rather stay friends - I think they have good chemistry together and I like watching their scenes, plus jealous Ji Heon? Priceless!

Hmmm, how so? QSS is one of my all-time faves but I don't really see the resemblance. Eric's character and JH are not similar at all, IMO.

It's not the characters but the relationships a little bit. At the beginning I thousand secondary guy liked main girl, but main girl likes her boss, and sometimes secondary guy (I still haven't figures that one out yet), and the boss kinda likes secondary girl but now he likes main girl, and now secondary girl kinda likes the secondary guy but she liked the boss or something. That whole love square kinda reminds (in a completely different way) of QSS.

I really like Moo Won in spite of myself, I normally dont like the cool aloof sorts but he's clearly chafing under his role as the golden boy and his mother's henpecking. plus the way he teases ji heon is hilarious and adorable. I like his scenes with heroine, and if I didnt like ji heon so much i'd totally ship him with her because he really loosens up when he's around her and seems to genuinely appreciate how awesome she is. this is one situation where it doesnt strain reality that two guys fell for the same girl cause she's such a stand out person. i honestly dont care for secondary girl at all, i feel like if moo won ended up with her at this point it would be kind of a shame, cause she is kind of pathetic and he doesnt seem that into her. but its early the drama she might become cool and he might start to appreciate her more. i do want him to have somebody and not end up alone. at this point i think he's jealous of ji heon so much as he doesnt think ji heon takes his job seriously and therefore doesnt deserve the job as director. but i think also his mother's pressure on him is also making him want to kick ji heon out of the way, cause its what his mom wants and expects.

I love Moo Won, and it's not even because of my all-abiding love for Jaejoong (not completely, anyway :P). He's so complicated that I'm not even sure he fully understands himself.

As for why he's jealous of Ji Heon, I fully get where he's coming from. He's always had to put in 110% - he's only yelled at when he's NOT perfect, but never praised when he does well because people simply expect him to do so, including his own mother. On the other hand, Ji Heon might be a screw-up, but because he's so useless, even the tiniest achievement gains him a standing ovation. Also, despite how useless Ji Heon is, people continue to make allowances for him, Chairman Cha and Granny is clearly biased towards him, and in the end he's announced as heir - regardless of Moo Won clearly being the better choice. That would piss anyone off, frankly.

I am not a Kpop addict and do not know him (Jaejong) therefore my comments are based on independent observation and not biased. This kid can't act! He's quite expressionless not unlike a dead man. He'll probably do well in a horror movie with his deadpan expression and makeup. There I've probably offended a lot of his fans but its an honest opinion!

LOL I'm not sure why you directed this at me, but fair enough. I personally don't think he's a great actor by any stretch of the imagination, but he's definitely not that bad either. Much better than I'd expected, anyway. We'll just have to agree to disagree. :P

I'm not sure either - perhaps granny just didn't like MW's mother? That woman could probably make an enemy out of everyone. Or granny just likes JH's innocent nature and thinks MW too calculating.
