I mean! Everyone in the family is fed-up with her (and tbh, I can't blame them. Unless we find out she was raped as a kid or something, I have NO idea why she's like this seeing the family is normal enough) but he just loves her and takes care of her and stands up for her.

I loved their relationship, too. He was so sweet and loving toward her. And, she is so messed up. And yes - something bad did happen to her. And, her parents didn't handle it well. Which is why she is so messed up. (Oh, the actress (Jun Hye Jin) is married to Lee Chun Hee. They were in Smile, You together as an OTP - you should watch for their scenes.)

Oh, I am glad she's messed up for a reason - I was wondering, since the family is well-off, she's physically healthy and nice-looking, her brother dotes on her and her parents aren't abusive.

This situation reminds me of 'The Story of a Man' when people shipped Do-woo with his sister Eun-soo even when he was clearly a psychopath. It's an interesting dynamic, having a dysfunctional character with a personified achilles' heel.

Yeah, PSH's character is not a psycho but he's pretty close to having ice blood and no interest in anyone, so it's great to see him so sweet and tender and unlike himself.

In other news, did you hear that Yoon Suk-ho cast Jang Geun-seok for his new drama? I am so exited. Yoon Suk-ho's melodramas are my guilty pleasures. And Jang Geun-seok will be playing to characters, a loving sweet artist and a playing carefree photographer. What more can I ask for?

I love when the cold hearted hero, who is a meanie to everyone and doesn't open up to anyone, softens only for the heroine- this is probably why I adored You Are Beautiful so much, But for them to make a hero and his sister like this...sad to say that I would probably like them together too- I am just such a sucker for the icicle hero who melts only for the heroine!
