So yes, working through backlog



Poor Shin - he's so confused why Gyuwon blew up when he asked for her to keep liking him. Smooth he is not :) It's pretty evident to us that he's asking her because he's head over heels and didn't admit it right away because he was looking for right words but I can see why GW, who got burned pretty badly by him, jumps to a different conclusion.



Not like he leaves her alone when she's mad. So cute!







Fine, drama, you win! I really do adore Overeater/Bulimic right now. Despite the surface bitchiness, she's very insecure and feels unloved and he's so warm and open and sponteneous, it's exactly what she needs. (Hmmm, he pretty much deflected when she asked why he said that when he was a kid his Mom put bandaids on him but he has to do it for his Mom now. Is there a story?)




He gets so worried when he thinks he lost her at the marketplace.




And he gets her to skip a showcase because she's hurt. That is why I love Shin so - he's kinda introverted and slow to warm up to people but he's really a good guy. We don't have grand declarations but what we have is his steady care of her, and his thoughtfulness.

This scene!!! They sit and talk as neither can sleep and talk about shooting stars. She says she wishes the could see one so she'd make a wish but when he asks her what wish, she says it's a secret. He says he wishes he could see it too and when she asks what his wish could have been, he pauses and very quietly says "for you to like me again." OMG.




















Out of all the airing kdramas, this and The Princess' Man are by far my favorite.

This was such a sweet episode in many ways. Heartstrings is the my favourite atm too. I really like the mellow, slice of life feel.

I watched ep 10 raw yesterday and what can I say, I loved it. Shin sure doesn't waste time when he decides on something. Heh. OMG! Shin and GW are SO cute together. I also love how comfortable they are now. I think the real Yong Hwa is 'bleeding' into the character so he looks and acts very natural.

Going by the preview today's epi points towards angstier times. And someone is jealous... me thinks.

Have you see ep 11 yet? I could do without the director storyline. And just about everything to do with the Epic!Show. Couldn't they find anything else to get the angst from? Serously. I love the directing of Heartstrings but the writing is kind sucky when it doesn't directly involve the OTP. Or maybe it's just the sweetness PSH and JYH bring in the mix.

I know! Jeon-hee and Hee-joo are winning me over. It's really how Jeon-hee is with Hee-joo. It's like I can't bear to hurt him by thinking of Hee-joo with Ki-young (although story-wise, that's really interesting.) It scares me the way I care about all the characters, specially the young ones.

I really like this Kyu-won, not so much the lovestruck one from before.

We all have been there with silly crushes though, and her infatuation was both real and temporary. I like Overeater a lot, not so much his choice of girls, but he is so sweet, I want him to get what he wants.

I'd love to see Heartstrings PD taking some lessons from Ouran High School Host Club : he should worry a bit which angle displays his actor's perfection : as from the right, should be 42 degree angle, from the left, should be 35 degree angle. JYH isn't that asymmetrical but the last pic with front view looks this way
btw Woori(Hee Joo) confessed in Lee Seung Ki's show Strong Heart that she had plastic surgery in high school: why? a cast crew canceled one of her roles because of her looks : instead of playing with camera (thing they do with really big stars) they prefer to traumatize lil kids (they all start young and kent is a harsh place)
